Based on the original Cantata BWV 147 by Johann Sebastian Bach for orchestra and choir, this is a simplified solo piano arrangement of the work made by composer, pianist, and teacher Samuel Iglesias. It is designed for basic/beginner Piano students.
The main melodies on the right hand are very faithful to the original, as well as the bass lines on the left hand, creating a highly familiar notion of the harmony that JS Bach originally intended.
