Very useful video. I thought I read that the suspension is better on the new model - is it?? I have the 2015 model which I love - doesn't seem it's worth upgrading though.

@Lav It Or Not Reviews: Hello Katie, what a fantastic Buggy this is - I love it for the babynest :-) - the baby lies flat, just like in a pram, I think that the infant car seat is good for example if you walk to the gate, as you need it on the plane......I wouldn't like that my baby stays in the infatnt seat for a long time, that's why I prefer the babynest :-) It's a shame that you can't use the babyzen yoyo+ with Britax car seat - what's wrong with the Britax car seat - is the Maxi cosi car seat better???? Thank you so much for the video!!!!!

Thank you so much for the video but I still have questions though :). I have the old yoyo chassis and need to change the canopy but the colour packs available on the market is only for the yoyo +, do you know if the new canopy would fit into the old yoyo? I understand that the old nest is not compatible with the yoyo+ chassis, but will the new nest compatible with the old chassis? I bought my yoyo for travelling reason but end up using it as a main buggy and loved it so much but agree that their rain cover is useless :D. Thanks a mill

Thanks so much for this! Was trying to decide if I should sell my original Yoyo and upgrade to the new model so this was very helpful! And you even answered my question of whether you could make the adapters fit on the old model. So sad they don't! It seems to be the main upgrade really.

Thank you so much!!! I have been wondering if you could fit a car seat on the old model which I bought in November 2015 (just before the new one came out!). I wondered if you knew whether the raincover for the new 2016 one would fit the old version (my 1 year old has torn the old one and I need to replace it).Thank you - best review explaining the differences between 2 models!

Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it! I don't see why the raincover wouldn't fit. To be honest, I have found both of them to be pretty useless and badly fitting and eventually gave up on them anyway. I find that the hood is waterproof and if the foot muff is on, then it keeps them dry too! If you have found a magic way to attach it better then I would love to know!

Hello, I found your video very useful even though now in 2018 only the Yoyo+ is available. At the beginning you say “...better than Bugaboo Bee” ?! We are expecting our first child and we are hesitating between these two buggies... we live in London and I would love to hear your opinion for which of them to buy. Thank you

How would you compare it to the bugaboo bee? I’m thinking about selling my bee and replacing with the yoyo. The bee is a rough ride for my baby in the car seat, even on pavements, any thoughts you have would be gratefully received. Thanks!

Hi Katie, thanks for the great review. Really helpful. Just want to confirm that it is the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat that you have?? I thought the yoyo wasn't compatible with the Cabriofix, only with the Maxi Cosi Pebble and Pebble +. We basically were just given a Cabriofix, and want to get a Babyzen Yoyo, but thought they didn't work together. If it does, where did you buy your adapters? Any help would be appreciated!! About to have our first baby, so much stuff out there, it's so confusing!! Thanks, Regards, Rhys

Hi. Thanks for watching. I did reply but can't seem to see the reply now! Apologies. Yes that is the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and as far as I am aware the adapters are universal so should fit lots of carseats. We used it on holiday with a Besafe one and it also worked. You can buy them at John Lewis - follow this link. tidd.ly/caf08c4 Sorry again for the late response.

Hi, thankyou very much for making this comparation video. Very useful!! I still got questions if you dont mind answering.. (1) Do you notice any difference with the yoyo+'s seat, is it flat? or a little bit angled toward the front? I have tried my 1 yo on old yoyo, but he seems to be pushed forward after a while ( because the bottom part of the seat isnt totally flat) (2) does the yoyo+ lay flatter than the older one? (3) you mentioned that you got the bugaboo bee too? Which one do you recommend better for travelling? We're using stokke xplory, my son loves it but it doesnt travel light, at all. Thankyou from Indonesia

Hi. No worries. Sorry it has taken a while to reply. The seat seems to be the same to me in both buggies. It doesn't lie quite flat. Only the 0-6 month nest lies totally flat but neither of my kids seem to mind. I would definitely use the Babyzen to travel - that was what it was originally made for. It is great to have it hand luggage size. I ended up getting rid of my Bugaboo Bee as found it too bulky in comparison. Hope that helps!

Hello, thank you for the explainations! Can you tell me if the use of the buggy board + the car seat is OK with such a light pram? I don't know if having the baby in the car seat and the toddler (14kg) on the buggy board is really safe and easy to manoeuver?... Would love a feedback from your experience as if it works, that would be the perfect solution for us! Many thanks!

Hi. So sorry. I seemed to have missed your comment before. Yes, it is safe but definitely not easy to manouever - I have found the buggy board to be really hard to use and it makes it very hard to turn corners! I don't think it makes a difference if it is the carseat or the buggy though, both configurations make it hard!

Hi. I am not sure of the exact height but I do find it comfortable and I am 5ft 8in. The handle does not adjust though so you have no choice unfortunately. If you are very tall, then you are probably best going for a buggy especially for tall people like a Stokke but I think that the Yoyo is pretty good for most people!

Hi, thanks so much for the video, it was very helpful. I am trying to decide if to buy the yoyo+ for my soon to be born child, or go with a bigger stroller like the baby jogger city mini. I live in a city (I don't think I will be going hiking with the stroller, only to the park and the shops), and I do plan to travel at least twice a year with the child. Would you recommend it for an everyday full time heavy use? Is the child comfy enough in the stroller even though it doesn't recline 180%? Is the bassinet (the new version is not at all different from the older one) good for up to 6 months? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi. I use mine everyday and my daughter was in the bassinet until she was 6 months. It only lies flat though so the baby can't sit up in it. It isn't as substantial as a larger buggy but I have loved it as I prefer it to be light! Both my daughters have liked it!

+Kamaldeep Singh So I know that the Babyzen Yoyo is billed as a travel buggy mainly but I love it for every day. However, I only use it in relatively urban setting so if you need to go on more rugged terrain then you probably need something more robust. That said, I found my Bugaboo Bee 2 struggled with rugged terrain too but not sure about the 3 - it might be better! I think it really is a matter of personal choice. I know that first time parents prefer the bigger bulkier buggies as they are perceived as more suitable, but personally, I wouldn't have bothered with a bigger buggy. I hope that helps - it's a tough choice I know!

Perhaps you can help me with a question I have about the adapter. As far as my google-fu has taken me all I can find is the adapter for the Maxi-Cosi Pebble car seat and not the Cabriofix. Is it, in fact, the same adapter and all the specifications on different e-shops are wrong (or just perhaps not informed)? Or is it a different adapter?

  • @lavitornotreviews8997

Hi. I believe that the adapter is universal so should fit any of the Maxi Cosi carseats. Places like John Lewis would let you return it if it doesn't work but as far as I am aware you should be fine.

+theamericangirly It depends on what you are looking to use it for. The benefits of the new one are mainly the use of the car seat adapters, the bigger nest and the bigger weight capacity. If you aren't bothered by those then you may as well buy the older version. Sorry, I don't know the details about the colours

+Jey Rodríguez Hi. Thanks! Yes it is black. You buy the car seat adapters which fit to your carseat and then your carseat fits to the Babyzen. I know that they fit to Maxi Cosi carseats but you would need to check on their website which other ones they fit to as I am not sure.

Hi, could you confirm, the original nest fitted onto the yoyo+? The new yoyo+ nest is £146 but I can buy a yoyo nest for a lot cheaper. Looking at pictures of the yoyo+ with car seat almost all of them show the pram without any nest or 6+ seat on the pram.

+v11ope If you take a look at the final part of the video I added in an extra part talking about this. The OLD nest WILL fit onto the NEW chassis BUT once on, you CANNOT use the carseat with it as the OLD nest somehow stops the carseat from being able to be clipped on properly. If you intend to use the buggy with the nest and the carseat unfortunately, you will need to buy the new nest. This is really annoying I know as I had hoped to do the same as you! However, if you have the new nest on the new chassis, then you should also be able to use the carseat adapters! Hope that helps :)

+Lav It Or Not Reviews I'm a new mum and we've bought this purely for travelling, I love how small it folds up but I can't justify paying so much for the nest when it's only going to be used twice (once when we return to the UK in Aug and again later in the year). I've bought the seat adaptions but don't want to rely on using that due to concerns I have with him being in there for too long. I can't envisage a time when I would need both the nest and the car seat on the buggy (unless I'm missing something) so I think I'll buy a preowned nest and then swap between them as the nest doesn't seem to take up much space so can travel with that in my luggage. Thanks for the great video! It was a massive help and should save me a few pounds!!

+v11ope Hi. I can understand why you don't want to spend the extra if you're only using it for a short while. I'd think it's a bit of a chore to take off the nest every time you want to use the carseat but I guess uf it's a short time then you'll save some money! I use mine every day so it wouldn't have been practical :( Anyway, glad to have helped!
