I was at Leeds Festival watching them that weekend. People kept throwing him hats and he was putting them on till he had a tower of them on his head the daft sausage :-) brilliant gig.

One of the best nights of my life, even if Peter kept us waiting a while...

Your confused. Songwriter not musician. Patrick Walden was one of the best musicians of his generation. Shame Pete couldn't deal with that fact and see that as an asset not a threat. So replacing him with a sycophant mediocre musician yes man. Oh well

Patrick is great but I prefer seeing Pete playing his guitar onstage, Pete's guitar playing works well with Mik.

Unfortunately they couldn't play together without either wanting to get high or punching each other. Patrick was the FARRRRR more imaginative and dynamic player, his style and sound was something of a cross between Andy Summers from the Police and Brian Setzer from Stray Cats..miss him.

E minor Barr chord on the 7th fret A string but without your ring finger pressed down and a major 7th chord on the 5th fret He also hits the 4th fret the first time he plays the major 7th but quickly slides up to the 5th

@@freakchic89 Mik gets a hard time but after Pat left (Mik was the technician before) he just helped his mates out. I like to think of them as two different groups with/without Pat. The sound changed enough, that's for sure!
