L&D nurse here! We have to set up the OR beforehand, do prep on mom, make sure our counts of equipment are correct with no interruptions, we also open mom up first to make sure no complications come up so when dad comes in we cover her real quick so he doesn’t see all the blood….. We also have to do a “time out” before we start with no one else in the room but the patient and staff beforehand… Then we go get dad and it goes quick from there! :-)

You guys are totally right! My daughter's name is Dahlia and this was a huge controversy for my husbands side of the family. When I was pregnant, everyone kept openly telling me that they didn't like that name which is crazy to me 😂 but I am so glad I didn't let anyone's opinion take me away from that name. She's a year old now!

My son’s name is Fisher. First son was Joshua and everyone ended up with that name so second kiddo, we wanted something original like Fisher or Reed, then baby bag came and it said “fish” all over it (nobody knew) and we just knew that was his name 😊. He’s in mid 20s so he is definitely one in a million

I love birth stories! Also when I was picking my sons name people would pick apart the names on my list and I just didn’t want to hear it anymore lol so instead of waiting to find out the gender they had to wait for the name! I got blankets with gift certificates to get them personalized and that was really cool to go get done so if I changed the name at the last min I wouldn’t have stuff with the wrong name on it haha ❤

Growing up people made fun of me constantly for having A “weird” name but now so many people love it!

You picked some very unique names. I think you made wonderful choices for your children's names.❤ My son is Joseph we called him Joey but that didn't seem to stick. I prefered JoeJoe and today at 37 he is still JoeJoe.😊

I have twin boys Brooklyn and Mason and an older 5 year old boy named Oliver 😊 keep being you because you guys are hilarious and feel like I'm normal when I can leave the mess to play and spend time with the kids and clean up later whilst watching you both ❤

Just gave birth to my first baby back in December , wanted a unique but meaningful name ran across ehlunai which means gift from god . Wanted it to be a little different so we decided on Euhlani , all same letters just different writing . My little blessing , she healed me , becoming a mother saved me 🩷 About 2 years ago I had a chemical pregnancy , I didn’t realize until I had went for a regular check up . Once I found out my whole world just fell apart , I was already going through a hard time prior . But soon as we found out about our little girl , everything changed . Our minds , our hearts , our perspectives & us . I’m so thankful 💘

My daughter was stillborn 2020 and I use her name here on KZread it strangely fulfills me just being able to use it in some way ❤

We ended up with two boys. Boys name were so hard for us! Funnily enough their nicknames are Row Row (Rowan) and TJ (Thayer James), so I got a kick out of seeing those on your kid’s name choice 😂 We never got to use our top girl name pick, which was Sage Beaumont (first and middle), because I wanted to call her Beau. Throwing it out there to someone❤

First baby: Robert Clark or Liliana Martinique (she ended up as a girl) Second baby 👼🏻: Robert Clark or Alexandra Christene (he was a boy, but we lost him at 20 weeks) Third baby: Alexandra Christene or Philip Jay (he ended up as a boy) Honorable mentions: -Pearl (Lili was almost Pearl, but it was too old fashioned for us lol) -Kathmandu, Kat as the name for Lili (hubby said hell no ☹️) -Vivian/Viviana -Stacy (Stacy’s mom, but there’s a dumb video that references a Stacy, so no) -Veronica I can’t remember any alternate boy names. Naming kids is hard 😅
