I think maybe we didn’t mention that they are definitely getting at the haters in this track too! I swear I don’t was thinking it lol I was busy trying to dig for the other deeper entendres because of the “you thought I was yours” line I was picking up on the breakup concept. But this line is also like them saying your thoughts about me don’t phase me and I don’t identify with them. Also when the doorbell rings at the end, that’s opportunity knocking and them following their dreams. Forgot to mention too that it’s sorta a reference to their pre debut track Dream! This was a well thought out comeback

Forever is proof that YG is prepping BabyMonster & their discography for the eventual concert tours. This song is definitely to hype up the crowd. I believe the girls will perform Forever on It's Live too. Can't wait for the full album and what kind of songs await us. Keep on doing what you are doing YG. Chiquita's electric dance is top-notch. The Chiquita fan cam clip at Inkigayo showed her dance steps in this rap part clearly.

Did you see Asa and Chiquita mean-muggin behind Ahyeon during Ahyeon's rap? First, they told us 3 times in the chorus "baby, it was all a dream". I believe the last scene is actually the beginning of Pharita's dream loop because the music at the end of the video is the same as the beginning of the video. I'll elaborate...as I said above, The last scene where Pharita wakes up on the bed surrounded by the other members. This is a Snow White reference. Snow White wakes up from her "Forever" sleep surrounded by the dwarfs. Also note, the box with the "silver slippers" and invitation (Cinderella reference) are on the foot end of the bed when Pharita wakes up indicating that whatever she was invited to hasn't yet happened. The music begins, the doorbell rings and they rush off to see who it is. Because this is at the end of the video, to me, it indicates a loop has begun and the dream is starting all over again. More Cinderella references are the single "silver slipper" left on the floor between the first chorus and rap, and the clock striking midnight. During the bridge, Pharita is sitting in a flying Bentley convertible, upside down on the clouds, passing by Big Ben while fireworks are exploding around her. Note the fireworks actually fall upward, which is actually downward toward the city below. This is a Peter Pan reference but they swapped out the pirate ship for the Bentley. Everything in this video screams money. Even the mini cars were Maybachs and Bentleys. BM's dream is to become so successful they will be young and rich.

This song was for the haters that’s always hating on the girls, it’s mainly telling the haters that they don’t care what they think they’re just gonna keep doing what their doing. The girls really killed this song I’m so proud of how it was executed😭🫶🏽

They all look gorgeous as usual. Asa is crazy rapping, and Chiquita dancing, that's just so entertaining. They have so many catchy parts in this song. They sing awesome and the raps are their best yet IMO. All 7 killed it.

I really enjoy your reactions, always fun and funny, love the energy and knowledge of music, impressed with the Dr Dre and Kanye references you recognized, someone also said there was a 2NE1 reference in Rukas rap. As you know, YG groups reference each other often. While a relationship theme could be interpreted from the lyrics, I believe this song is the more upbeat version of "Dream", they're living out their dream and they're waking up every day to live it out. Plus they are replying to their haters, it might be harder to pick up on this because Korean words can have multiple meanings, but right from the beginning Asa is saying they're doing what they're doing and it doesn't matter what you say, you can say goodbye, Chiquita pretty much says the same thing. Blackpink also replied to their haters especially on their last album. Listen to it again with all that in mind.
