It probably sounds weird because we are used to the OT6 version. Ahyeon's part doesn't sound entirely out of place for me, just different, and some people may or may not like it.

i like batter up better than stuck in the middle. if we are comparing ballad songs by YG artists, Taeyang, 2ne1, and iKon have way better ballad songs. But BM's vocals are great! I wish they do R&B ballad, which is more on brand to them! also, Rora is my bias, just want to add that
