The inspiring story of 3 young Jpop idols dancing to heavy metal, truly bloomed in Sonisphere UK 2014, when they were moved to the main stage at last min notice. Facing down 60k hardcore metalheads, singing in a diff language, the 3 young girls (average aged 14) gradually took over the crowd and ignited the entire Kawaii Metal genre, clustering different music genres into their unique sound. Since that day, these 3 girls and the talented Kami band solidified the spirit of metal and found a new way to unite folks all around the world. Although Yuimetal and Mikio are sadly no longer with the band, Babymetal is maturing as a band and this setlist was nothing short of high energy-pumping goodness and incredibly cathartic for the soul. It is never easy to be on the road for a whole year, keeping up with the energy/vocals/ dancing, while dealing with jetlags, changes in climate/ food/culture. The concert was an absolute BLAST to be at, and definitely one to recount over the years. So glad that the Blink (wife) was convinced to jump with me in the pen for an hour (no mosh pit unfortunately). @12:37 wild puppet appears to ask for an encore, in sync with the cheers. almost all the merc sold out except the towel face after the concert , the organizer wont sell it for a last minute discount, so we left looking for dinner, u know the vips que for 11 hours..need fast sugar...

Thanks for this. I was up front at the barricade and have never wish for Malaysians to be shorter. Didn't take a single picture or video during the concert as I want to absord every single minute. Malaysian kitsunes banged hard that night. We did the girls good! FYI we sent the girls a huge standing bouquet 💐

@heavymetalzombie9226 aw cmon dude, gotta give them some credit. It’s not a bad setlist with a mixture of new and old songs. Bands gotta promote their latest album yes? Hope they switch it up a little before the US tour though, they have little over a month to revise their choreography
