I really enjoyed your full album reaction/review. Like you, my favorite one was "Divine Attack" before listening to the rest of the album. Now my favorites are "Mirror Mirror", "MAYA", "Believing" and "METALIZM". And yes, that guitar in "METALIZM" is insane. The live pro-shot footage of the five songs premiered at the Makurari last January is already out there. And it's 10 times better than the studio versions, as expected.

Great job! I also got the new album and listened to it. I am sure the fans, including myself, were worried about a lot of things before the announcement, but in the end we got the tremendous new album, ha. METALIZM, it's my favourite so far. In my opinion, both the lyrics and the music are arranged in some Arabic-inspired way. However, it might be somewhat stereotypically images for our Japanese in this song. Perhaps that might be offensive to the Arabian people, but I would like to genuinely enjoy myself. The Japanese have a certain longing for Arabia, a kind of exoticism from the old days. And this song, first, the way Su- sings it, it's like some old Japanese Enka songs, or old popular songs, and that's the first thing that makes me laugh. And then the chorus '(METALIZM) zum zum zum' kills me, haha. I think this is a kind of a play on words that it repeats the ending 'zumu' of 'metarizumu' which is the Japanese equivalent of the English word 'metalism'. (English has the word, metalism?) To put it bluntly, I think this is where BM's cute metal, or fun metal genes remain. And one more thing, at 26:52, 28:28, the guitar phrasings in this section reminds me of Mikio Fujioka's classic solo phrasings. Deep and wonderful in many ways. Thank you so much for the great reviews of yours, from Japan! PS. Who will be the third member, new or revivl.. I will go and watch it to the show in Yokohama on 1th April!

Interview with Billboard Japan……SU-METAL: First of all, THE OTHER ONE isn’t the main story of BABYMETAL. It was made during the time we took a break from doing concerts after our ten-year METAL RESISTANCE saga, so the album is about “an alternate BABYMETAL.” At the same time, we’re sometimes called “Kawaii Metal” but don’t think that’s the only thing we’re about. We want to make new music, so we don’t want to be tied down by that image. We want to show another side like this and hope people will enjoy this, too. On top of that, BABYMETAL’s new main story will begin again, so please look forward to that as well.

Babymetal always delivers 🔥🔥🔥.... with a sax solo!!!!!! Hell yeah.

Now the stream for their January show is out, they took Metal Kingdom, DA Monochrome, L&D, The Legend, alll of them, to another level with live sound. It's increadible how lively, and heavy the live sound is

Favourite track hands down

I'm with you - 'METALIZM' just stuck a stupid grin on my face that I can't get rid of, but I think its a great album. From the snippets I thought I wouldn't like 'Time Wave', just not my style at all, but even that surprised me and I really like it but I can't explain how or why. Great reaction.🤘🦊🤘

This was a great effort. For the record, I love the album. Metal Kingdom I feel is a good song but fails to really take off at any point. This used to bother me until I realized that MK is really just a long intro for Divine Attack; which does lift off. Also, when you listen to Metal Kingdom, the Whoa's can seem overdone, redundant even, by the third repeat of them. However, this is a song written as an opener for a show and if I am in the crowd, I will be riding the Whoa wave and pumping my fist skyward for each and every Whoa. So, I think MK works for what it is. My favorite track from the album is still Monochrome (written about 5 years ago), although Maya would be a close second. Strangely (because it is right out of my wheelhouse) I don't mind Time Wave (meaning my least favorite on the album). I can see a club mix of this song being done, bringing a new wave of fans to Babymetal. A pretty smart song for them, I think. All up, I feel this is Babymetal's best album (don't kill me). With the addition of Momo to complete the triad, the release of this killer new album and a world tour to support the album, I think Babymetal is more than back, I think they have become better. This is set up to be a massive year for them.

I 100% feel you on that. After recording I seen it and was so annoyed 😂 couldn't exactly record again 🙈 I was wondering when someone would comment about it 😂
