Great Reaction! I agree about it being more than the music. I'm not going to spend money to see a recital. I trust the musicians can play their instruments and the vocalist can sing. I want to see a show. Like you said, if it's just the music, I can listen to that at home. One thing you will always get from Babymetal, without fail, is great show.

Excellent choice of song and performance. Yes this is usually somewhere mid-set and it does give everybody a chance to catch their breath, to sing along rather than charging round in mosh pits or jumping up and down. I completely agree. I saw some of the recognised great live bands in their prime ... I was never better entertained than at the BABYMETAL concerts I was lucky enough to go to.🤘🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed this very performance at the venue where and when Momoko was inducted into BABYMETAL officially. Yes, she had a headset mic for the first time like Moa has done since BM's inception. I sang the ♪ oh oh ohoo ♪ part with Momometal with my loudest voice in the show holding my phone. What a bliss! The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship. Recently Western (American) Kami Band played in the girls' back throughout BM's world tour in 2023 and 2024 as well. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint (Ryan replaced in USA). They are really unsung heroes.

You are right. Performed just when you need a break and a welcome break without changing the feel of the show and still keeping you involved and having a great time . I'm glad you said they have a gimmick and not are a gimmick a completely different thing 😁👍. When I went and saw them Oct of last year. This song was # 7 on the set list. So your correct. Middle of the set is a great place for it.

Monochrome is another beautiful track from latest album, it was the 2nd single released in November 2022 and there's an official lyrics video really cool if you wanna enjoy the studio album version, later in 2023 right before this concert you just saw they released the Piano Version at The First Take surprising everyone with another stunning and beautiful one off stripped down version. The lyrics got some Norse mythology reference and when the lyrics vid came out there were many theories around, later they said they were surprised about it and saying they just wanna give a hopeful song. Here's some official info: _"One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is MONOCHROME and this 2nd pre-release digital single “Monochrome” centers around this theme. From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors."_ This was live at BabyMetal Begins - PIA Arena MM Clear Night, Yokohama on April 2, MomoMetal first concert as an official member (she's the new official member after YuiMetal left the group in 2018), you can notice SuMetal speaking to them in the middle section and giving that recognition. They got this magical moment when performing live in every setlist they did throughout the recent World Tour 2023, and we'll definitely gonna see more this year. The composer behind this song is the same one behind Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Kagerou, the arrangement of Megitsune and also behind Believing from this same latest album, you should really not miss those songs. And you are correct, Babymetal shows are now structured with a bit of a break in the middle, for the audience, the ladies on stage are now so well trained I think they could keep it going with the high energy now. But obviously, when they are doing 3 shows in a row, night after night, I'm certain they also need to keep going into the red limited. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are Babymetal fans by the way. 🙂 Babymetal opened for Lady Gaga in 2014 on her US tour for 4 (?) shows. She was in the photography/security section in front of the barrier enjoying the show, ignore the fans behind her enjoying the show (she might have after, I don't know, but it was clear where her focus was). Babymetal had Sleep Token open for them in the UK in 2019, the other opening band was Amaranthe. A large part of the Babymetal fans were very much split, those that liked 1 didn't enjoy the other of the 2 opening bands and the other way around.

This was the first day of Momoko as the new Member. Previously she was a silent Avenger. A guest Dancer, but after 4 years she was promoted and this was zhe reason why she hesitated in her call. An Avenger has to keep her distance, we must not forget she is 7 years younger than Su. But as the new Member she is a Sister, so she has to come tight. In the US and Europe this also a usual check. Do all parts of thecaudiencecreact as expected, if not, why not. You might have to Motivation them, or do they not know what to sing?
