Disregard any suggestions over early era songs performed after 2018 (including 2023 versions) for the moment, not saying some of those are bad, you can come back later with those if you want, isn't about nostalgia nor melancholy like some comments said, is about to experience the same path we did appreciating the evolution of this group, there's no need to rush.🦊🤘🔥

Good suggestion and recommendation. Going back and experiencing their journey helps so much. Babymetal is special. In my 53 years of loving music, I’ve never been so emotionally engaged before. Having been lucky enough to see them live, I can honestly say that they the best live show I’ve ever seen.

Great reaction again! If you want to see more of Su-Metal's vocal range, I recommend any of her solos: 'Amore', 'Rondo of Nightmare', 'No rain no rainbow' and 'Akatsuki'. These solos belong to the classic era of Babymetal, and in some of them you can also see the Kami Band (the brilliant musicians who accompany them) doing solos. If you're still not satisfied with that, then it's time to watch 'Monochrome - Piano version' and 'From Dusk Till Dawn'. You will shit your pants (sorry for the foul language). I love your suggestions and 100% agree with you. Can I make an additional suggestion and recommend a double Akatsuki reaction starting with Budakon 2014 and then Akatsuki (Unfinished version) from Legend 1997. I well up every time.

We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this at the recent World Tour 2023/2024 and getting the crowd going bonkers with this. The live debut was at Apocrypha - Another One exclusive show prior to the track release, it was fun and totally unexpected, everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it. There's a live proshot version at Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka released prior to the official live but if you want to enjoy the live sound then the official live is less risky. You'll notice some slight difference between the live and the studio album, especially the crowd participation. The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when MomoMetal is doing the Kabuki moves style. Just like you know and researched, "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festivals when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is a shamizen, also used in Megitsune. Moametal and Momometal are very good singers, too! Maybe you´ll get to THEIR special versions of "Headbangerrrrr!!!!" one day 😉 -"Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)" is a very good suggestion. Quite early BABYMETAL, but one of their showcase performances! -"Shanti Shanti Shanti" (often written "Shantix3") is another very good one if you´re interested in Su-Metal´s singing prowess. Great reaction ... its a fun festival song - Ganimal83 has done a great job explaining (and re-translating the "Heave Ho" into more modern English🤣). Basically the deeper message in the song and in Momometal's Kabuki Theatre section is that we are all fools - the fools who dance and the fools who watch - and since we're all fools and we're all here we may as well all dance. There is also an official live video for this one ... it is a real crowd pleaser and Momometal adds a bit extra that may surprise you.

Nice, Tom needs to meet up with Babymetal and do this one live! The “Official Live” version is much better, please check it out! In the lyrics: _Wasshoi!_ and _Dokshoi!_ - “heave-ho” is a terrible translation lol. No body in their 20s says that. Instead think of it as “Come On!” Or “Put your back into it!” Or “Let’s Go!” Think of it as an encouraging shout to your buddies when they’re helping you lift something heavy. Assuming you and your buddies don’t live in the 50s lol, otherwise, heave-ho away! 🤣 Metali = made up word mashing “Matsuri”(festival) and Metal. Google translate will have a hissy fit with this one. Basically, this is a fun metal festival song, bringing all the boys and girls, and all the “cats and laddles” together for a fun time to sing and dance like fools. Song was released during traditional Japanese Festival season. Also, definitely do *Road of Resistance* next. There are 2 versions: _Official Live_ is from 9 years ago when they were 17/15 years old. _Pia Arena MM_ for an Apr 2023 version. 🤘🦊
