Got a sub from me. Why ? You reconition of the hard work BabyMetal must do ( forgive you for not mentioning Su's beautiful vocals and the harmonies from Moa and Moa 🤣 ). BabyMetal performed around 100 shows in Japan and across the world last year, all sold our i believe . Seeing them perform is an experience every song has different courography and they sound better live . The courography is even better because you see parts the camera might not be focused on, and Su sounds even better live they are memorising to watch . Watch Road of Resistance at PIA Arena 2023 . You mentioned Tim and Scott not sweating 😁 it was not the first song for BabyMetal, and they performed RATATATA with EC at the same show and were not even breaking a sweat 🤣 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Well, as Alan identified, they simply dropped their usual Post Production out, they play this as raw as possible. Combined with the 4 Guitars thdrums and the Bass guitar, this is a complete remux with Su which is simply 5 years older.. at least in the original Saitana location of the Foxfest this was possible since they had the tine to teally test the circuits.

This song is in fact pretty old. Beand New Day was a part of Metal Galaxy. At that time they still worked based on Dummy Tracks that were replaced, if two bands wanted to interact with each other it got complicated. While today everything is based on computers and remote interaction. That you are interacting with guy a few thousand miles away is not really the issue.

This was at FOX_FEST in Japan a few weeks ago. I was at this show so I got to see this fantastic performance live. If you want to see Babymetal live, they are touring the US in November, although the show they take on tour isn't quite as grand as the shows they do in Japan, it's still a great performance to see live. In my personal opinion, the best thing on Metal Galaxy is The Trilogy of Lights, which is the last three songs on the album - "Starlight", "Shine", and "Arkadia". Shine is my favourite song on that album by far.

Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find more songs like this with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, and it's quite clear in the solo section. Tim Henson said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again last week at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. BM said in a recent interview that they would love to collab along with Fall Out Boy, imagine. Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements created by 3 beautiful performers and 6 instrumentalists with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video. They played this song together again in Belgian festival on June 20.

This performance is from Fox Fest Festival which is hosted by Babymetal. Polyphia were there as were Electric Callboy. The first live performances of Ratatatata were at Fox Fest. This quite chill for Babymetal. They are a mesmerizing act live and have been performing since 2010. Yeah, they were really young. The early days are where the Kawaii was always front and center. And now with all the ladies in their 20's there is a special new energy they're bringing to their performances. They are not known as a legendary live band for no reason. I can't agree more that Babymetal is the hardest working band in the world, their stamina is certainly admirable. If you would like to react to another chill song of theirs I suggest "From Dusk Till Dawn (Budokan 2021 Live), the dance is toned way down but really shows that every move is thought out and has a purpose. "FDTD" is one of their most unique songs and is a feast for both the eyes and ears, The range that Su sings on it is incredible, I think it's the most impressive vocal performance she has done.

Great reaction. As you know, the song is almost 5 years old being as it was on BABYMETAL's 3rd album Metal Galaxy released in 2019. It is certainly one of BABYMETAL's more 'chill' songs ... but BABYMETAL can do everything. That's one reason their collaborations all work so well as they are so versatile they can do pretty much whatever style and match up with whoever they are collaborating with. Tim Henson and Scott le Page provided and recorded the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest in Tokyo in May (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL) was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together. Polyphia and Electric Callboy were both on the line up BABYMETAL had invited to play. As well as Scott and Tim joining BABYMETAL for this song Nico and Kevin from EC also came up to perform 'RATATATA' live with them. The Metal Galaxy album has two very different halves (the Japanese edition came on 2 CDs). It has a Light Side which explored the softer, more pop and electronic side of what BABYMETAL do as well as exploring some musical styles from around the world (eg India/Bollywood, Latino, Finnish Polka etc). 'Brand New Day' was on the Light Side. The Dark Side goes back to the heavier more metal end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale and it concludes with three songs they described as 'The Trilogy of Lights' which describe the stages of mourning we go through after losing somebody close - 'Starlight' is about the initial shock and grief, 'Shine' is about acceptance and coming to terms with the loss, 'Arkadia' is about carrying on, moving ahead and looking forward to a brighter future. I see this was your first live BABYMETAL. You have been missing out, they are one of the very best live acts on the planet. They can do it at festivals and in the smaller venues as they tour the world, but their arena concerts in Japan are incredible. To get you started try anything from their PIA Arena concerts in April 2013. 'Megitsune' is one of their early songs, but still a big favourite for the fans. If you already know 'Megitsune' try 'Divine Attack', 'Mirror Mirror', 'Metalizm', 'Monochrome', 'BABYMETAL Death' ... or pick anything you fancy.

Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it.
