Great reaction, great song. I think tiaopiak has told you everything you need to know about 'Headbanger' other than 15 is a sort of coming of age thing in Japan, so the song is also about taking that next step in life. The venue for this video was the Budokan in Tokyo, a very prestigious music venue but actually a martial arts arena built for the 1964 Olympics. The Beatles was the the first band to play there. BABYMETAL are the youngest average age female band to headline - Su was just 16, Yui and Moa were 14. This was the second of two nights (both sold out to over 14k people). On the first night Yui disappeared having fallen off the stage during the call and response in this song (all the safety barriers you saw round the stage were not there on the first night), Su and Moa continued and finished the song without her. I don't know how far she fell, but she was under 5' tall so however far it was will have been a long way. Yui was back on stage and ready for the next song (the last of the night) which starts with her and Moa sprinting round the stage - this time Moa slipped and twisted her knee or ankle. She managed to not go over the edge of the stage and she completed the song (with some more strenuous choreo including a pretend fight with Yui) and the show fighting back the tears as she was clearly in pain. These girls are professionals.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!!' is a classic. One of their first hit songs. I was thrilled when they brought it back into the setlist on the US tour last year.

Well, the lead singer Su is from Hiroshima. Yui (the cute one on the left) is from Kanagawa. Moa (on the right, she's always smiling) was born in Aichi. Wherever those places are. Thank you google-sensei. I'm sure you're right though and they're officially based in Tokyo for obvious reasons.

there's a couple videos out there of babymetal performing _painkiller_ by judas priest -- one, with rob halford from judas priest, and one with the red hot chilli peppers. whenever you watch one of those videos, and you hear su sing the line "louder than an atom bomb", bear in mind that su is from hiroshima, one of the two cities the usa destroyed with nuclear weapons at the end of world war 2.

The day before this video was taken, at the same venue, at the same song, Yui fell off the stage and went missing. The crowd went crazy and shouting for Yui. But she's alright and came back to perform the next song, which is IJIME DAME ZETTAI, which you should probably do next :) I recommend the one at Sonisphere kzread.info/dash/bejne/hKNhwcWblsfYiag.html

Did you happen to see Moa grab the "runaway microphone"? They pretty much go at that pace for entire concert (watched their Wembley concert). The only breaks are Su performing solo and Yui and Moa performing as Black Babymetal. Here's 2 MV for you Early MV; Megitsune; kzread.info/dash/bejne/lX9nsK-Tcbixd9o.html (official) Current MV; Pa Pa Ya; kzread.info/dash/bejne/oYNru5qHo9HRgso.html Welcome to the Foxhole!!

@PrepsterM I wasn't being sarcastic. I was referring to Su. I like Papaya well enough but I prefer BxMxC. If a person is going to point someone to Babymetal with rap, I go for Su rather than F.Hero although, again, both songs are excellent.
