A few more days and I’ll be posting some videos I’m really hoping it whistles loud and it should as benzoate is for sound and Sali is for power.

What are you adding wax or Vaseline as a phlegmatizer? Your mix looked like it was dry.. I hope not

Yes I usually put some gum tape on the outside and have the fuse hanging there just so the spark hits the fuel grain.

@@E85_STI I do what 976evil does, drill a hole where the fuse can be, it just makes it easier for me idk

Is there any whistle mix that is weak enough in thrust (and still whistle) for a core burning spindle/ universal black powder spindle?

I have a cored whistle rocket demo on my channel but it’s never a long spindle because if you have too much of a core it won’t whistle it will just be super fast. So that’s why you need half and half so that you get power but the whistle sound from the solid portion of the fuel. As far as making it weak it should be just adjusting the ratios and using less or more of one chem and that will alter the burn rate.

Nice work. Is it sali or benzoate. Try those cohete spindles there amazing for whistle I like the 3 pound motors small but a lot of power

Where did you buy the press and how much did it cost?

About 400 psi is the lowest I’ve measured with my force gauge

@@E85_STI mine only goes down to 800. and am not able to press them baby rockets without a blowout.

@@darkstarpyro5358 yeah luckily On mine I can but it still wants to blow out the tube but since I use the NEPT they are better quality and hold up. I do have a 1 ton Arbor I use for the 1/4 inch rockets
