Finally some different content coming up in climbing videos and some real talk being done. Strength is about so much more than just muscle power and climbing grades. Thank you for making this! ❤️

It’s been nice and refreshing to watch Caroline’s journey even in little snippets like this. I don’t think we see enough of these real stories out there. You both are wonderful, thank you.

Again, thank you so much to Caroline and the north face for making this video. I’m a mom of 4 girls and the newest is 3 weeks old today- but I’m also a climber, a therapist, a KZreadr and an adventurer- and I need those parts of me to be a better mom. Thanks for making this content ❤️❤️❤️

Love the honesty ,love the transparency and to break taboos about being a parent. How you loose every bit of you. Some comes back. Some will never return.

Totally get all of the feelings, apprehensions and questions raised in this film. We are going onto third child and I feel all of this! We are just getting sorted with climbing with 2 children and down we are going to head back into the hole, by choice. Hugely stressful. Completely relate to the final comment ‘I need to have room for my passion to be a good parent’. So hard, but so rewarding.

As someone who has climbed her whole life and is currently dealing with the misery of being in my first trimester with my second baby. I am just in tears knowing how hard it was to get back to climbing hard after birth but I am also so grateful and inspired to do it again after hearing this experience ❤

Amazing guys, full respect for finding your way to make it work and being transparent. Having kids is life changing and challenging. Your kids are super lucky to grow up with so much exposure to nature, sport, health and most importantly parents who work as a team.

What a beautiful and inspiring story. I see moms with little babies coming to climb, they are my heroes, 'cause mine is already big enough to climb by himself. And thanks to your experience I hope it may work for me in future, if I'll have a 2nd one. Good luck!

I'm not nearly as good a climber and athlete as she is but I can relate. After pregnancy and childbirth, I was really afraid of never getting back to the same level... and I didn't. My kid is 2 and I still struggle to squeeze in a workout or hike. It's really hard and I resent myself for not managing this better. But I will do better, I have too!

This is what defines a woman’s sport, being able to beat the odds and disadvantages of being a woman THEN still finding the time to raise and create small humans at the same time.

it is definitely another cool TNF video, on the other hand, I don't think it was nessecery to put the spotlight on the 'Difficulties' of white privileged climbers in the UK trying to continue their climbing career while raising two kids. while I'm speaking, in other parts of the globe, poor people, people of color, and unprivileged individuals (including climbers) have many worst things to deal with. don't get me wrong, the kids are adorable.

I’m not sure it’s relevant. You can pick anybody and it’s almost certain their will be people worse off than them. Difficulty is personal, not absolute.

I think your comment totally misses the point. When you are a female athlete it's either having career OR having kids. The North Face is kind of ahead of many other brands by showcasing these struggles and ways of rebounding from them.
