This week we celebrated Easter with some of our family. As additions come and some move, getting everyone together can be more and more challenging. So grateful that we were able to gather together those who were able to come.
The children enjoyed playing with their cousins, we had several delicious feasts, and even an easter egg hunt.
This world is full of hards. When we are little, these can be simple things like losing a toy, or skinning a knee, a squabble with your best friend. The older we get, the more complicated hards can become. Relationships become more challenging. We struggle to keep our family fed, sheltered, safe, and healthy. Loved ones are lost due to distance or death. We see our children struggle and are unable to comfort them or provide the proper answers to their questions.
What an awesome gift we were given by our savior, to know that one day, the hards will be over, and we will join him in his father's house. He has gone and prepared a place for us so that one day, he will come again that we may go also. The hards will be over and we may rejoyce with the King of Kings.
