We have a family of skunks near our farm buildings. I don't mind them at all. Caroline doesn't like them at all. I have cut way back on the cat food. In the meantime, the skunks are more active and this one is digging for grubs along the edge of the shop building. Pays me no attention at all even though I was about 5 feet away from him. My viewpoint on skunks is they won't bother you if you don't bother them. They eat grubs and mice and so are valuable things to have around. Just be a bit careful you don't actually kick one or you might get 'perfumed'!
