You have probably already found the answer. I do two big pinch twists of a white 260. Not as great as the round, but can still look nice

Instead of cutting off the excess on there little find could you bring the knots to the center and tie the knot off so it squares off the fins? I’m not sure if that makes sense, but it’s a great design, love your videos.
