Icehorse91 we rescued a mini donkey last June that is supposed to be bred so we are just watching and waiting...it will be our first foal after owning many horses over the years. We are retired now with the mini donk and a mini horse mare and hope to be able to have this kind of interaction with the donkey foal. I guess it will be up to Mildred, the mama...so far, she is a total sweetheart! how could anyone throw them away when they are so amazing? They are fed to zoo animals and many countries eat the meat. It’s a business, unfortunately. Millie’s foal will have a safe home here with us and we are looking forward to the experience.

IF a male does that, it would be considered child abuse (donkey-child abuse). IF a woman does that, it's oh, how cute! Objectively, I think that was a little much for the donkey with such a young brain. It looked annoyed afterwards.
