Baby Lasagna - real name Marko Purišić - is the heavy favourite to win Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. The "Rim Tim Tagi Dim" singer stopped by our Emporia Rooftop Lounge to explain his feelings qualifying from Semi-Final 1. He also explains why he wants to stay in his village, rather than moving to the big city, and shares an emotional message for parents. He also shouts out to his fiancé Elizabeta Ruzic, who he says is the "lasagna" to his "baby."

Same goes for me. And I'm from Croatia! Before the semi-finals, I couldn't stand the song, but then I watched one of the interviews, then two, then three...Then listened to the song and have grown to love it.

He has this aura that just screams "WINNER!" both in the contest but also irl. The way he speaks so humbly the way he stays true to himself despite the popularity he gained and keeps gaining every day is so refreshing to see. I just want to appreciate the interviewer here. In so many of these kinds of videos we see interviewers ask dumb, irrelevant questions, but this guy asked everything I wanted to and kept the vibe light and cheerful. Major props to him

Marko is not only a charismatic performer and an excellent writer who created the entire song truly on his own. But in addition to that, what really fascinates is the personality of this young man, who, with his politeness and responsibility toward the audience, can certainly be a role model for young people. However this competition ends, and it will turn out just as it should, I believe this man has a brilliant career ahead of him.
