For people who have just caught one, and you find that they're on the smaller side, what mine ate a lot of and seemed to enjoy, strangely enough... moths... or anything I caught outside by my porch light. Make sure that what you're feeding them is no bigger than the width of their head.

I rescued one the other day from my shop after it got stuck on some silicon. I used oil to gently remove the silicon then brushed him gently with Qtips soaked in mild soap to remove oil. Then I put some water in a container shallow enough where he laid in the water after several days he was well enough and he darted out to be free again, but this time he roams my house free to catch all the roach he can catch and other bugs.

It's name "Laslus". It is motherland is Turkey.. There are many of them in our village. They are the best listeners in the world.(for animals) . Harmless and they love people. :)) Protect them ... From: "samandag town" in turkey/hatay

You would get crickets for it witch you can probably find at your local pet shop.

I’m so sad 😢 i took care of this baby house gecko & it was inside my house for a whole year obviously she was full grown today! And she used to watch me make dinner and every few weeks she had eggs in her belly cos I could see them through the glass window in my kitchen. Anyways I just found her dead, squished in the seal of my fridge, only just happened 😢😢😢

Aww i'm so sorry, once i found a gecko squashed in our door and she was carrying eggs, i manages to get one of them but sadly it was very soft and mis-shaped and went mouldy

well, i live in a tropical country. we have so much gecko here. even some of them just as big as my hand. we are just let them playing around and crawling anywhere they want, since gecko was a symbol of "home sweet home" in our tradition

Aww.. I am very impressed. Most people are cruel. You care about a living thing that most people would just step on. I am the same way. I never hurt another living thing ever. I bitched out these dudes on another channel for pouring salt on a leech just to watch it die. I don't understand how human beings can be so cruel.

I have a baby Gecko that hatched three weeks ago. I let his brother go, but this one is so small the skinks would get him. He's the runt. The eggs were in a camera bag in the shed. He eats fruit flies. I may keep him. He seems happy in the aquarium I made for him and swims in his little pool.

Leeches are fucking evil though. Geckos don't do anything to people, they just mind their own business. LEECHES ON THE OTHER HAND will bite you and stick to you while never letting go and transfer blood-born diseases to everybody they bite. They deserve to die. Geckos cannot be compared to those disgusting little bloodsuckers.

Maggie Pooh give it half a leg of a cricket you can find outside. Cut the cricket in half and get the leg. I know it's sad cutting it but it must be done, it's the circle of life.

Lau taro I don’t recommend forcefully feeding it..it’s probably sick and about to die. That’s sad to hear. I think you should just put it in a container with some soil and stuff to climb on along with a bottle cap of water. It might heal like that, and you can feed them beetles to if they’re small. If the gecko is larger you can feed them meal worms. That’s what I do to the ones I find in my house.

Parrot Paradise mine is chill like that. I’m pretty sure he’s got something wrong with one of his eyes but he still hunts fast. You’re though, they attack like a rocket!

I looked up from sewing last night and saw something on the window. No screen, so it really caught my attention. It was a gecko. It was huge! I have seen two very small ones in the last little while, but this guy? He has been around a while. We live in south Alabama, and the are on Dauphin Island. I have NEVER seen any up here. I wonder if in coming and going to he Island that we have transplanted some. Do they make sounds? I do like lizards, snakes, nooooo.

How did you hold it?! I have one that size maybe a little bigger or smaller I can’t tell, but I’m afraid to pick him up and cause his tail to come off. I’m not afraid of him in general though, I really want to be able to pick him or her up! Thanks for the video!

How’s your gecko doing? You can order small crickets and mealworms for him. Make sure to buy a misting spray bottle and spray his enclosure so that it’s nice and humid for him. The humidity helps him molt better :)

What do you feed him?

Baby house geckos might sometimes be rare but there are some geckos and about like 4 or maybe 7 Babies. Sadly they become adults in just one year or so.

If you get a baby Gecko you can get wingless fruit flies at Pet Smart. Much easier for them to eat. Don't try to feed them mealworms or anything larger. wingless fruit flies are the way to go and they are so easy and cheap to care for.

I own 2 Mediterranean House Geckos. Yours really do need to eat a bit more. They are very active creatures and he should rub around on your hand.

Okay, I caught a gecko that looks exactly like this one! She (I think its a she) is just as small, but with a wider belly. What type of gecko are they? What do they eat? (can't seem to get her to eat baby crickets and there is no way I can do slugs XP) How big will they grow?

they will most likely be fine together, ive had them of differnt sizes and put them together and they were fine, if you notice any fights possibly over food then it would be best to seperate then

+Thenewmessi Dod You can also go online and order small black soldier fly worms. These are great for smaller geckos, geckos who won't eat crickets or geckos who may be too slow to catch the crickets.

Caught him on Friday and he ate a baby cricket Friday night. But refuses to eat anything ever since and it's Wednesday night. Idk what's up. Wingless fruit flies at Pet Smart. They will only eat live prey. I got mealworms but they were too large and can hurt him, so I let those go. Make sure he's warm and has water. Mine is very small after hatching and placed a cap with water he will dive in. Indirect sunlight is good, too, for a few mins only. I replace the soil with fresh leaves every two weeks to empty his waste and always wash my hands with plain water thoroughly. Get him a little stick or twig he can climb on/ I hope all is well.

@Lau taro I used to get him wingless fruit flies at Pet Smart. Ants or spiders may have venom so don't get those. If he can't move his back legs he may be sick. Also, keep him warm and make sure he has water with a bottle cap. I kept mine in a plastic container with just a few air holes. I sometimes would use a spray bottle and mist him gently so he would keep hydrated.Or just sprinkle a few drop from your fingers on the bottom where you keep him. Most of the time I kept him in a place with little light since they like cool, dark, places.

@Lau taro I'm sorry to hear that. I think he had something wrong with him or he was injured escaping a predator and there wasn't much you could do, but at least you kept him comfortable. You didn't do any harm, he was just not going to last long since he was very ill.

I had a gecko that looked like that one but I took it out to play when I was by my bed he jumped in the little area under my bed his name was geico
