just discovered your videos today, i'm from Melbourne, Victoria. how many piggies do you have? do the boys and girls share spaces, well i guess they must at some point because you are getting babies. right now i have 2 boys. previously we lived on an acre and ended up with abt 20 mostly girls. how long have you had guinea pigs thank you for sharing

hello Melbourne , welcome Kylie well the boys and girls have separate homes and yards but I use a breeding pen, don’t breed much as I don’t sell any , but do give some away some times to people in of a friend I had them on my other property more room but foxes came around and killed a heap of chickens lovely hearing from you Kylie

G’day! My piggie starts squeaking when yours all call out. I’m considering getting him a companion so he’s not so lonely. What do you do if a pig gets sick? Have you got a local vet to help? I love that yours get a lot of fresh air and exercise. I fear so many pigs live in cramped and dirty cages with limited mental stimulation. Do you cuddle any of your pigs in your arms? (Minnetonka Minnesota)

In german they are called Meerschweinchen = (Sea pigs) wich makes sense, they go crazy for anything that includes high water percentage AND they can swimm. I mean ... in english they sure ain't gonna drink Guinnes

not that I breed much , but I alway choose the ones with three rich colours and short hair as short hair suits our climate, I feel so the breed is the American guinea pig but I have had a range of different ones at times maybe I should breed with the smartest ones to see how it works out .

Quick question: I have two boys and one of them has a very active grease gland. Recently I've had to give him a bum bath about three weeks apart. Do you have to do the same for your boys? The stuff drys until it feels like candle wax! 😂 I'm glad I'm not squeamish!

the mothers have been in the breeding pen for mating and having their babies best way to keep a good eye on the moving around can cause stress in some cases and better for extra attention for the babies
