A Baby Deltic in 5" gauge, however, will just fit with 4mm to spare, and here it is, all the electronics and engineering complete - awaiting 3D printed cabs and lower-tech bodywork.
Powered by - Impax 800W inverter generator, 240V a.c. output converted down to 27V d.c. @ 26 Amp using 2 off 350W SMPS.
Traction motors - 4 off 220W Sensored Brushless (Nanotec DB59M024035A)
Motor controllers - 2 off STM3-EMC (J Freeman).
Central Control Computer - as used on 'Brushless Brutalist'.
Controlled by 3 channel proportional radio control 2.4GHz
(Ch 1 - drive - drift - brake
Ch 2 - Forward - Park - Reverse
Ch 3 - Hi and Lo Horns (yet to be fitted)
