Baby bunny binkies
In mid-March (around Easter) I found a domestic dwarf bunny that someone ditched in a field. Unknown to us she was pregnant and gave birth to a litter of 4 kits.
Peanut is the name we gave mom (it is changeable), she is a dwarf bunny (3.4 lbs) and super sweet and mellow. She is mostly white with grey/light brown tips and a couple grey streaks on he back, she has warm brown eyes and is litter box trained. There are 4 kits- Smokey, Frodo and Sam are female (we need to change their names) and Sweat Pea is male. We named them before we sexed them.
Sweet Pea and Smokey are the more active of the 4 kits. They are bold and fun to be around. Sam and Frodo look identical right now (both fluffy and black with light brown tufts around their feet).
All are looking for a good home :)

Animal behavior is so fascinating, especially since binkies, which express joy, look sort of like the bunnies are being skittish and jumpy.

Nature is almost otherworldly cruel to rabbits. They're born with instincts that have gotten so advanced, that their mothers bury their young in soft breathable soil so as to hide from literally everything. Which is why bunnies have a strange time expressing joy like that. Bunnies can even purr. And when purring 'loudly' it sounds like they're squeaking or moaning when they're just happy noises. Bunnies need us to save them and be the kinder animal of the animal kingdom to them.

This purr makes some of the healthier and bigger rabbits have the name "Happy honkin' bunnies". Cause the purr sounds more like a honk as they get bigger. xD

My bunny grunts affectionately at me but she sounds a smidge like a deep breathing overly excited sex pest - makes me laugh but at least coming out of her it is cute!
My mother says it brings her great joy to know there are sweet woodland critters that dance when they are happy. I cant disagree.

I'm jello. How come I haven't seen my baby bunny binky yet? He jumped up on my shoulder the other day tho. Took me by surprise. He be like play wif me! Hes so little,, I pretty much hafta pet him w/ 1 finger. I think baby bunnies butcher the sugar hill gang song & just say stuff like a hip hop, a hippy to the hippity hoppity hippity ummm bang bangbangity Rick Ross u don't stop to the hop hophoppystrahphes beat. 😋 over & over half arsedy all the time 😊😁

My baby bunny, Shiloh, does this every morning around the time i have to get up for work. He's my little goof ball lol xD

Bless you so much for finding Peanut out there pregnant with no place to go - I hope you know that you totally saved her life...bless you , blesss you,, blessssssss youuuuuuu...!!! My wife and I have 6 rabbits....1 Buck and 5 Does - Our buck is a polish Dutch dwarf and our female is a Blue Magpie...We absolutely love bunnies....where are you located...??

There are plenty of rabbits 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇 🐰🐰🐰🐰 in the house 🏠 playing with each other. Really, they are bunnies 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰. The rabbits 🐇 have lovely ☺️ fur. Most rabbits 🐇 have giant size. The eyes 👀 on the rabbits 🐇 are coloured red. I spect all the rabbits 🐇 are getting on very well. I like 👍 the colour of rabbits 🐰 🐇 are coloured white. 👍👍👍👍

I love bunny binkies & it just occurred to me (duh!) that this sure would help in avoiding a predator - unpredictable movements. They seem partly involuntary, don't they? Especially when they sit there afterwards, like "Wha happen? How I get here?"

@@snowflakeandfluffy2913 I think it's like how kittens play by pouncing and puppies play by tussling; they're doing it because they're happy and having fun but it's also an instinct that's helping them build skills to survive when they're older.
