Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro Exploration

A ramble of thoughts about this dishwasher.
I'm pretty confident this was a better choice than a countertop dishwasher, but that's only because we use Dr. Brown bottles.

If you get the chance to show how you load the elvie parts, that would be awesome!

Put the duck bills down where you had the white diaphragms (the Dr. Brown’s straws), one on each side. That’s what I’ve been doing and it frees up some space up top in case it’s time to clean a pacifier or two, or even a bottle lid that you didn’t fit at the first cycle you did

I just got this and it won’t start! It says the water tank is low (have it filled to the fill line). Have you had this issue?

Excellent- thank you so much for taking the time to show the reality of the product. I’m wondering why not just use the dishwasher and do a 65 degree cycle?

Great question! So remember, I'm just a sleep-deprived adult hanging out online. There seem to be plenty of people who use a dishwasher and many who think you're awful utilizing a dishwasher. I can't find any declarative science to support the opinions either. We did and would use a dishwasher again - ours actually has 3 bottle cleaning sprayers on the top shelf and a sanitize function that doesn't seem to melt stuff. For us, this device was interesting because: - We struggled to fill our dishwasher with a whole load of dishes before we needed the bottles cleaned, so I often ran an empty dishwasher, which didn't feel great. - Until some recent hacking on our dishwasher, it was leaking water down the door from running it more often because, as far as I can tell, it was designed by the engineers to leak; the bottom seal is made of hard plastic and has holes in it. Nevertheless, it's probably worthy of a rant video if I need to fix our hacks. - Until recently, it took 3+ minutes for our hot water to run warm in the kitchen sink. In Texas, they seem to install "instant" hot water heaters outside on the side of our homes, often uninsulated, and for us, this adds 40 feet of extra pipe before the water makes it back to the house. - It took me 20-40 minutes daily to sanitize all our baby feeding equipment with a pot of boiling water and significantly more water. - I was also unaware that countertop dishwashers existed before ordering. I can't remember if I said this in the video - I think a sanitizing dryer is a better value for most people than this dishwasher, but I definitely don't regret getting this. We use it twice daily, and by my estimate, I'm trading $2 for 1 hour of my life every day for a year. That seems pretty great, and should we be able to use it for another kiddo, that makes this device a steal.

I have that same Breville tea maker! Absolutely love it!!! Where do you get your loose leaf tea though? And on the topic at hand, do you "need" to use those little pellets...seems like a pain in the butt once you run out and have to wait on more to ship. God forbid you forget that you ran out at some point, and then your fckd lol

Historically, I've been a Tiesta Tea person, but more recently, I would check local tea shops, so for me, in Austin, that would look like West China Tea :) As for the pellets, yeah, it's all a bit silly. The good news is that you can get free shipping on them; the mixed news is you can only buy 360 pellets at a time - which also prevents people from overbuying. The pellets are approximately 16 cents each.

I've seen that some people use a tiny bit of Dr. Bronner's castile soap instead of the pellets. They say it wotks great, but I havent personally tried it.

How many washes can the clean/dirty water containers be used for?

They can only be used for 1 cycle, basically the top one drains into the bottom one after 1 cycle, so there's no more room for a second cycle.
