The developer of Backrooms 1998 and The Stairway 7 wanted to develop a Mascot Horror game and released the first chapter of the story. Mascot Horror Games are always welcome on the channel and the first chapter promises some cool things to come. We play as a kid who stumbles upon some very terrifying entities while the parents are having an argument downstairs.
The vibe was very rerminiscent of Among the Sleep and I think that is one of the best horror games made of all time so it was great to see that. I do think that the mascot itself can be a bit more fleshed out with art decals in the enviroment and overall atmosphere. The main attraction of Mascot horror games are always the mascots themselves and you need to be reminded of them through art, models or sound design.
I hope to see more of the scary monsters in the upcoming chapters and will keep you all up to date with the development of Baby Blues.
