Jun and Keshia, you guys are the sweetest. Thank you so, so much for sharing my blog. How I wish incompetent cervix didn't exist but on the brighter side of things, it brings me great comfort and joy to have been brought together with fellow IC sisters/couples and meet such amazing people like the both of you!!! This community has been a God-send and I truly hope to meet you both and Rainen one day so I can give y'all the biggest hugs and so we can also go ham on some good food because you guys always having me CRAVING all sorts of yumminess whenever I watch your vlogs! I am so, so happy to see Rainen healthy, growing and thriving! So glad he loves his piano--Manny absolutely loved his! Also, Keshia, you look amazing mama! Such a beautiful mama :) Rainen is incredibly blessed with the most loving parents and you guys are extremely blessed as well with two beautiful children, Jurnee and Rainen. Every time I see Rainen, I can't help but think of how happy his Ate Jurnee is to see him with you guys. I know that she is always with you all, each and every single day. Still watching but I want to help answer you questions. I’ve got a large chest too and was able to breastfeed all 4 of my babies. It was rough though in the beginning for each of them. I could only feed my first 3 with a boppy or pillow because I had to use one hand to keep my breast from suffocating my babies. It worked, but after I finally figured out how to feed them laying down that was a game changer. My body was much more relaxed which then allowed my baby to feed more naturally. My advice would be to keep trying new positions. You could try just pumping off that first bit of your “fast flowing” supply. Your letdown just might be really fast in the beginning. I think my favorite time of day with my babies was bedtime. I too would give them a bath, then feed them all wrapped up tight. They’d sleep so good on those nights. You’re doing a good job you guys! Going from 6 lbs to 11 in that amount of time is great!! Also, we had to give our babies vitamin d as we live in Seattle. Everyone needs that vitamin if you live here. Until he can get outside, the extra vitamin we will only help. Thanks for sharing him with us!! So cute!!

Lying down side by side could help with both issues. You can control the let down better because the milk is not coming out straight down, rather slowly on your side. If you keep pumping first you might want to freeze that milk, and keep nursing him so he won't lose interest. They get used to the bottle real quick. I had very similar issues, and my son didn't want to nurse anymore because the bottle was easier for him. Hope this helps. Your doing awesome by the way! He's beautiful! I'm so happy for you guys! 💕

I am extremely heavy breasted (I wear a 46h) and the football hold is the only way I found i could breast feed without feeling like I was going to smother him. And it's normal for breastfed babies to not poop daily so he may not be constipated.

Even I faced the problem with feeding my baby..so I preferred feeding her in sleeping position..that way milk flow won't be fast..

It's ok if he cry's for awhile. As long as you know he's not hurting in anyway. It's hard to do cause you don't like to hear them cry but it's still ok to let them cry sometimes. Let him cry for a few minutes when you lay him down and just extend the amount by a few minutes each time.

We need the amounts of all you used - spices, water, bouillon lion, etc. It looks amazing!

Hi! For the position I’d suggest when you can lay down and nurse him. I found that to be very helpful myself. When sitting up I found using the boot helped but not laying them on it more so inside it and pulling them closer. For the choking issue we had that too. It was explained to me that they’re getting the thinner milk that comes out fast and not as much of the hind milk which is thicker(or as I called it, the “cream vs the fat free”. Lol. For me what worked best is what you’re doing even tho it’s a pain. Pump a bit, then have him latch. You can save it for bottles or dump it because he will be getting the “good stuff”. Ok sorry so long! Going to continue watching now:)

Lean back in a chair, and bring him to you. Don’t lean over him..... if that makes sense. Giving him a bottle, will only make him used to taking a bottle. He will get used to the milk. Your body will regulate the milk production. He will go through a big growth spurt soon and the milk will be welcome. I am big breasted as well and I layed down breast feeding my children. lay down on your side. Lay with a pillow behind your back and sorta lean back on it so your nipple is right at his mouth. One between your legs for comfort. The more you pump the more you make. He will figure out what to do with the extra milk as he grows. But not If he is getting bottles. That will just confuse him.
