The Baby arc is when it gets better, imo

This is when GT starts to get really good this the arc ive started on with GT and other arcs get better pass this point

I will say I do like the concept of Baby and his backstory. But my personal biggest gripe with him? His name. Seriously, they couldn't possible think of a better name for him? 😅

There's actually a version initially shown on Toonami that actually cut all the episodes prior to them landing on Rilldo's planet. Which was only eventually released on home video, and later Toonami, as the "lost episodes".

At this point baby has a power level far higher than majin buu which is the toughest enemies the Z fighters fought. Only confirmed because his power level surpasses general rildo (who was stated to be stronger than majin buu and who was a previous GT villain)

The concept of baby is interesting but the execution was meh at best.

the thing is no matter how much i loved dragon ball z the thing is dragon ball is about getting the dragon balls same with gt with z and super have nothing to do about dragon balls anymore it just about villians they forgot what dragon ball meant it was about the dragon balls and having a Adventure long with it while z and super is just about fighting villians and super is just goku and vegeta show every other z fighters is forgotting barely see krillin yamcha tien goten trunks gohan and the rest its goku vegeta show the franchise is no longer about the dragon balls it self but more about villians.

even villian like frieza and emperor pilaf was about getting the dragon balls while cell buu and all laters villians are just about destroying the earth and nothing to do with the dragon balls

GT for the entire first arc was a damn snooze fest

Baby is my favourite and most hated Dragon Ball villain of all time. When it comes to evil, creepiness and over all appearances. Creepier than Cell... Atleast he has charisma and you can sympathise with him.

Dub most of the time feels like they're reading somme long ass articles in a newspaper or something , sub actually changes the tone enough to express more feeling through it while not overdoing it enough to be annoying. And dub straight up makes Pan *sound* annoying , the sudden switching to high pitched very frequently to express anger or excitement to the point it feels annoying like no actual person talks in that way come on now . And this is other than the big amount of dialog and information butchering the dub does .

Baby Arc is some of the best story telling in all of Dragonball.

" Goku after dbz but for some reason just seems dumber and weaker " Umm no pretty sure this is only consistent with end of dbz who is carefree not dumb or weak . I forgot did u watch end of dbz episode before gt ? Cuz that's the continuity for dbz and gt u skip it only going into dbs .

There is actually a reason why GT dubbed is so horrible is because they changed the plot for it and everything from the original sub trying to make it more of an American show also making it harder to watch in all

This Baby arc is the one that can be seriously compared to Super and Z arcs. From Super, only the Black arc really competes with it; ToP was fun action but not a good story arc, and the rest was garbage.

Black arc does not compete with it . Only the beginning of black arc does , before Goku black lost his threatening presence due to getting sidelined by his own green version doing some tag team nonsense like Android 17 and 18 then fuse with him for no reason other than turning into a more annoying version of the whiny god from where Goku black is simply no more , only to get despawned by a purple blue baby in the end . It was competing till Zamasu was implied to be becoming someone different in the saiyan body getting used to its primal desire for violence while keeping his knowledge resulting in both a dangerous level of power and skill . This should've been the thing followed up on till the end , not the Green Zamasu who is insecure and whiny more than anything else making goofy shocking expression losing a clash to Goku and crying while preaching that he's noble or whatever , he was only ever good for origin story , and at best should've gotten decent amount of more screen time in some plot twist moment where the good guys have found one window of Goku black being weak which he stops them from taking advantage of somehow , Goku black still being the main focus for the most part . Like this it was complete opposite of Baby , started from such a strong presence and went to nothing , hell even baby wasn't as bad even at the start and still menacing in some ways. The arc had the potential to match but they messed up , u don't go from a character like that to Zamasu .
