Shocking quality control from babolat, an intermediate player could buy one of these and end up with a spec that belongs on the atp tour!

I’d love to see Babolat make a racket using the pure strike mold, 16/20 string pattern, low 60s RA, and a 315g or 320g unstrung weight. That would be a weapon!!

Demo the vcore 95, similar specs. Don't worry about the sq inch difference, yonex 95s play like 97/98s.

Jens... I have added weight in the grip handle along with Tungsten Tape at 3 & 9. I love this racquet with the added weight. I am trying to find the right hybrid setup... currently Babolat Origin at 24kgs in the mains and Babolat RPM Rough in the cross at 22. I am think of dropping a half kilo on both. Great on serve and volley especially. I am enjoying the feel off the ground as well.

Love this racquet. Chose the 16x19 pure strike over the pure aero after demo. Returned to tennis (20 year break) with this racquet. This racquet heavily rewards full swings and good technique. If you arm the ball back over the net like many beginners your elbow will tell you (major vibration). The weight of the frame is just heavy enough to trust smooth ground strokes, but light enough to accelerate for punishing high ball, serves, and overheads. Multifilament mains (head velocity) & Poly crosses (head lynx) have been the best string combo I've tested on this frame. Highly recommend.

I got a chanece to demo 100 and can compare to the previous gen. The p07 is normal babolat crisp and powerful, but the dempend system really is a big question in 3rd. It reamains the same power but literally kill all the feel which means the only thing you know is whether you hit the ball or not, you can't feel where it settles, how much spin it got, but the comfort is amazingly superior. It amazed me how this features work~~

Honestly don't know why (most) racquet companies even bother listing specs for their racquets at this point. Good advice about asking suppliers to check the specs before selling it to you - sadly some smaller retailers don't have a large stock of each racquet so you're stuck with what they have in store (at least that was the case for me).

You should do a racket specs of Juan Carlos Ferrero. Specifically his prince days, that graphite frame that ferrero, Acosta, nalbandian used.

Hello, the dunlop CX 200 is less powerful than the pure strike? all rackets feels too porwerful to me (I really hit way too hard all the time) but I don't have the technical level to play extra heavy rackets nor 97' frames, the CX 200 (LS) could fit me well I believe, but it's kinda hard to find super control rackets for 285-290g

Just played the Pure Strike today.. very lovely finding.. I heard about the Pure Aero and the Pure Drive before (liked a lot the Pure Drive, very nice balance of power and control but the Pure Aero is not for me, too specialized.. for spin only) Now the Pure Strike.. well, well, well, have to play it again but now my preferred racket .. Lovely, sweet, good for everything

i bought two frames, i played before with PO07 . third generation completly different racket, when i set unstrung balance to 32cm(weight 308gr) racket was too head heavy . I change balance to 31,5 cm (weight 314gr) . It was better. But you are right, racket is too muted, too powerful, slice is absolutly uncontroleble shot, backanad same. For me still stiff, i feel arm. I sold them. 2nd gen 100% better frame. Now i bought vcore95 .

I like the fact that you step into your shots and you don’t wait for the ball to come to you and end up hitting open stance. Only if your rushed I feel you should hit open which is why with semi open stance you get the best of both worlds, which you are doing so it’s great my friend 👍

55lbs on polyester on this racket SERIOUSLY!, no wonder you gonna have wrist issues. Try again under 44-48lbs you didn't even get to take the best out of this racket with that high tension on a full poly bed.

@@Tennisnerd Agreed. I think for the most part finding the proper string and tension can make up for what a player feels is lacking. A firmer string in a soft frame sometimes has great results. I put Hawk Touch in my Youtek IG Radical Pros and the racket player 10x better than a firmer tighter poly. I think every frame reacts to certain strings more than others.
