How's that a joke to you? Whenever babies pull their hair, sometimes it can be painful, and it's sad to see baby cry like that. We all have probably done the same thing when we were babies. That fact you would say let em pull and scream and let them figure it out. It digusts me because they won't figure it out first of all. their babies, they don't understand.

I do find it entertaining that a % of babies do this . wow. My kids never pulled their OWN hair. Then the cry. Maybe they need given like mom monkey does. Everyone justifies that all the time. Baby pulls hair, mom bites the hand ,that's pulling the hair.

When newborns "feel" an object in the palm of their hands they grab it involuntary and with great force considering their young age. They don't "just let go" because they don't have control over it. Besides, their brain function is still too young to make the connection between their pain and their actions.

Just one reason many parents put mittens on their infants.

At what age do babies stop doing this ? Is it when they have total control of their hands, if so what age/ months is that ?. I have 3 kids , but they are all big now so I can’t remember ( back in my days I had to walk barefoot in the snow uphill , 😂😂kidding) but for real what age do they stop ?. I just remember my little men always did this , had to put socks on their hands because the mittens sucked and alway fell off . I know this hurts them but they are so stinking cute and innocent 😂

It’s supposed to disappear by 2-3 months, but in some children it’s retained. Not to this extent though!

No. I remember at least 2 of my 4 did it. We are African-American and didn't get any footage. They're all grown with no long-term trauma.

I have no idea what the lady in the corner was saying but also don’t understand why she’s even talking and why she is there. What is with adults doing thing ? As an adult I can care less of another adults reaction . Also this isn’t enjoyable to see babies hurting themselves and less enjoyable hearing and adult talk as well as her showing her reaction . I don't find it so funny when the babies pull each other's hair and the parents laugh about it too. Instead, parents should cut their babies' hair very short. By the time the hair grows back, the baby has developed the habit of pulling the hair.

I don’t get the parents who continue filming while the baby is crying with pain at the hair pulling. They are so innocent and they’re stuck with parents who prefer filming for YT than loosening their baby’s grip.
