Thank you very much for explaining the Japanese traditional cultural events for newborn babies. I was wondering about the reddish color marking on Mitaru chan's forehead when she visited the temple at one-month-old. Kanji characters "Big" for boys and "Small" for girls are so interesting. By the way, I didn't know Wataru has a younger sister. Very pleased to see the Wataru's family in your KZread videos. Mitaru chan is growing fast, and it is a delight to see her smiles in your videos. Keep up with your video postings! 😊

That was very interesting. I love learning about other cultures. It was so nice that you were able to use the same kimono that was used for you. Perhaps one day, she will use it for her child too. In my family, we use the gown that my maternal grandmother made for the Baptism of my uncle, her first born, in 1914. My son was the last one to wear it in 1989. I am hoping that if he has a child, that child will be Baptized in it too. PS, she already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. She is so adorable.
