Because Baba understands what you do not understand. Open your eyes, the Bible is filled with Yoruba rituals. Go check out the Jewish ritual called 'Kapparrot' for a good laugh. The Bible is a Yoruba document. Don't let anti-bible/anti-Jesus campaigns of certain scheming persons stop you from digging and finding the connection. Abrahamic faiths were hijacked from the Yoruba.
