Baba Is You - Meta Spring - Full Playthrough, a custom world I created for the spring is in the air competition!
This is my own levelpack! No commentary (but maybe a commentary version in the future!)

and finally me for creating the level design and music, I guess. more ideas than you think are actually old thoughts I had when I played Baba for the first time (wanting a springboard, multiletter abuse)

I finally got through your levelpack for the competition and holy moly I cheesed the hell out of it. I still haven't won picnic, but I don't have time to do that with all the other entries because I've already spent three days on this one. I do look forward to figuring out how it's possible

I hope the solutions I show in the video were cool to see anyway! There are some cheeses that I found annoying to find a way to deal with after the fact (such as underspring). thanks for playing through

@@IcelyPuzzles looks like a job for the INVISIBLE SOFT HYPHEN (U+00AD)! or any of the other invisible characters (i'm not totally sure if they would work though)

@@notwithouttext nah I think it prevents punctuation at the start, which is probably there because people say "2:54: blahblah" or "2:54 - blah blah" and they wanna get rid of that. maybe some invisible char that counts as "not punctuation" but idk, I just used "Level 9" as placeholder

@@IcelyPuzzles some characters: (in ›those arrows‹) (in f7 browser cursor mode shift+arrows for selection) soft hyphen ›‹ zwnbsp ›‹ youtube may delete that in comment '7f' (delete character) ›‹ invisible in (some) browsers '1f' (some ascii control character) › ‹ youtube may delete that at all and windows doesn't like it too zwnj ›‹ sometimes impossible to copy unknown unicode character fff7 sometimes invisible ›‹ braille pattern blank ›⠀‹ hangul filler ›ㅤ‹ '2060' (word joiner) ›‹ nominal/national digit shapes (some crap that doesn't work anywhere) ›‹ and ›‹ halfwidth hangul filler ›ﾠ‹
Very cool levelpack! there are certainly very interresting mechanics and references! Also how did you made the spring property? Did you made it using mods or using hidden props?

i personally don't feel it changed that much... I don't remember changing it that significantly. no I don't have a followup and in fact I'm quite bad at uploading/showcasing my own levels lol. I should make a minipack sometime of levels I already made, I have made enough stream levels to do it

@@IcelyPuzzles Mostly was wondering. I might as well bring up the changes to help jog your memory. The win condition was changed to air being behind the spring by the could be "Spring is level", below "air is win" there is two water tiles. "Square is push" no longer has air below it. New win solution is to use "eat", "cloud" and/or the key to remove water tiles. Still working on finding the level transformation as of writing this. Love the levelpack nonetheless :)
This contains stuff from letters+ as well.

i had to do 'spring is spring' for the square level in the halfway point. the user randomiser created a pack called spring is bounce tho

there is a credits file you can modify - you can download my pack (or copy the txt file from a different pack) and make mods to it
