This stepwell is made by "Dada Harir Sultani" also known as "Bai Harir Sultani" in 15th century. The architecture of the step well is amazing and the stone carvings, sculptures are wonderful. We wonder how Indians of that time made this wonderful and symmetrical architecture without any machines.
The place also has a specialty that, when someone goes downward, he / she can feel temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs.
The more Down you go you can feel the temperature is lower than the outside temperature. Basically, the structure is made like that to feel cooler in downward.
There is no entry fees here.
Only Mobile Photography is allowed in stepwell only.
Pre-wedding Photoshoot or videography is not allowed here.
In Mosque and Tomb, Photography and Videography is strictly prohibited.
It is Holy place for Muslims. If you ever visit there, please follow their rules and rituals respectfully.
It is Very beautiful and clean place. please do not little garbage here. Always use dustbin and keep your surrounding clean.
