I introduced it to my child who being born and bred in England has not been exposed to this message but has some passion for poetry and deeper meaning of life. بسم الله الر حمن الر حيم -The Children of Israel (Bani Israel) ن يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُركُم وَيُثَبِّت أَقدامَكُم 7. O you who believe, if you support GOD, He will support you, and strengthen your foothold. ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُم كَرِهوا ما أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأَحبَطَ أَعمٰلَهُم 9. That is because they hated what GOD revealed and consequently, He nullifies their works. أَفَلَم يَسيروا فِى الأَرضِ فَيَنظُروا كَيفَ كانَ عٰقِبَةُ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم ۚ دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيهِم ۖ وَلِلكٰفِرينَ أَمثٰلُها 10. Did they not roam the earth and see the consequences for those before them? GOD destroyed their works; all disbelievers will suffer the same fate. 7Purgatory (Al-A'araf) الأعراف وَلَقَد خَلَقنٰكُم ثُمَّ صَوَّرنٰكُم ثُمَّ قُلنا لِلمَلٰئِكَةِ اسجُدوا لِءادَمَ فَسَجَدوا إِلّا إِبليسَ لَم يَكُن مِنَ السّٰجِدينَ 11. We created you, then we shaped you, then we said to the angels, "Fall prostrate before Adam." They fell prostrate, except Iblees (Satan); he was not with the prostrators. 17 - The Children of Israel (Bani Israel) الإسراء وَإِذ قُلنا لِلمَلٰئِكَةِ اسجُدوا لِءادَمَ فَسَجَدوا إِلّا إِبليسَ قالَ ءَأَسجُدُ لِمَن خَلَقتَ طينًا Satan Dupes the People 61. When we said to the angels, "Fall prostrate before Adam," they fell prostrate, except Satan. He said, "Shall I prostrate to one You created from mud?" 38 S (Saad) ص قالَ يٰإِبليسُ ما مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسجُدَ لِما خَلَقتُ بِيَدَىَّ ۖ أَستَكبَرتَ أَم كُنتَ مِنَ العالينَ 75. He said, "O Satan, what prevented you from prostrating before what I created with My hands? Are you too arrogant? Have you rebelled?" 34 - Sheba (Saba') سبإ وَلَقَد صَدَّقَ عَلَيهِم إِبليسُ ظَنَّهُ فَاتَّبَعوهُ إِلّا فَريقًا مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ Satan Claims the Majority 20. Satan found them readily fulfilling his expectations. They followed him, except a few believers. ص إِلّا إِبليسَ استَكبَرَ وَكانَ مِنَ الكٰفِرينَ 74. except Satan; he refused, and was too arrogant, unappreciative. إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله "‎ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ أَوَلَم يَعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ 52. Do they not realize that GOD is the One who increases the provision for whomever He chooses, and withholds? These are lessons for people who believe. قُل يٰعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ أَسرَفوا عَلىٰ أَنفُسِهِم لا تَقنَطوا مِن رَحمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغفِرُ الذُّنوبَ جَميعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفورُ الرَّحيمُ God's Infinite Mercy 53. Proclaim: "O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of GOD's mercy. For GOD forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful." إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله "‎ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيد . But, what I mean is that since Hindus will never allow a Muslim government to come in power in India so therefore their are less chances of a successful Leader that will rise from Indian soil, for the betterment of the ummah. Look Pakistan, Pakistan has a Muslim majority, Pakistan has Muslim government and Pakistan is nuclear power (the only Muslim state on the face of earth having nukes) therefore there are very high probability that the good leader will born for the betterment of the ummah. I hope that you have got my point.

Which is the promise of Allah and prediction of Rasoolallah. Lets get rid of nationalism which is a curse and think beyond. Listen to Allama Iqbal again. Iqbal did later on apologized for writing that poem. I love few verses from that though: "Ae aab e rood e Ganga Woh din hai yaad tujh ko Utra tere kinaare jab karwaañ hamaara" "Mazhab nahi sikhaata aapas maiñ baer rakhna..." Aap us nazm ka mutalia karien...it has many toxic ideas: SAARE jahaañ se achaa Hindostaan HAMAARA (Islam hamien har qom har mulk ki izat karna sikhata hai...na ki apne mulk ko baqi mulko se baalaatar samajhna...Islam teaches universalism and there is only one race: human race...yeh nazm, jo ki video main hai, bhi toh Nationalism aur Rasicm ke khilaaf hai) SADIYOON raha hai DUSHMAN door e jahaañ hamaara (this line preaches jingoism and hatred to other nations) Aap unki nazm Naya Shivala padhien...u will realize where this idea of Nationalism will take you. Listen this video again, verses like these teach Universalism not Nationalism: "Butaan e Rang o Khoon (Racism/Colorism) ko tood kar millat (Ummah) mein gum hoja Na Irani rahe baaqi na Turaani na Afghani (Say NO to Nationalism)" "Ghubaar Alooda e Rang o Nasab (Racism) hai Baal o Par tere Too ae Murgh e Haram (reminding you that you are part of Ummah) Udhne se pehle purfishaan hoja" "Haqqeqat aek hai har Shai ki Khaaki ho ki noori ho (equality of Creation of Allah)"

A great philosopher and poet. A great enthusiast for his quam. IQBAL hat's off to you.

I'm a bangla speaking person with a little knowledge in Arabic and Urdu. To me, the excess use of persian words here made this poetry very hard to understand. But the last two months I listened to it repeatedly (and still listening), as a result many of it's verses I got by heart. Just besides it's inner meaning and Iqbal's deep insight, the deep voice you have provided here make this poetry mesmerizing. Thank you all.

I guessed that. Just like some Hindi literatures which are very hard to understand for ordinary Hindi speaking people because of excess use of Sanskrit words.

Beautiful! No words to describe the feeling that these verses made me feel. Ecstatic! Iqbal’s Mard-e-Momin is born in every era and even now someone somewhere in the world is going through the klin of life and being molded into the sword of Allah which will never shed any blood and only through love, justice and supreme character, it will show mankind what Iqbal meant by saying that the universe was meant to die for you, not you dying for it.

My respected father left this world a week ago, a big fan of Iqbal's poetry and Pakistan, pray for him for highest ranks in Jannah insha Allah, Allahu Akhbar

Lahore is legendary city,also known as city of Iqbal,when u fly to Lahore plane touch down in Lahore you can feel this is indeed Iqbal City

Urdu ka Allama Iqbal se bada shayar koi or nahi ho skta.. I'm a Indian.. love from India..

I think this single poem of Allama Iqbal has the highest number of the most famous and legendary couplets/shair than any other poem in the entire history of Urdu language. I think every Pakistani knows at least one couplet/shair of this poem, they used to be telecast daily on PTV before Khabar nama.

I have studied english literature and linguistics for the past 5 years now, unfortunately, I grew up to be more inclined towards English instead of Urdu. Surely western imperialism is still making the young Pakistanis discard their own culture and language and they fail to understand the gems of Iqbal... For the past 5 years during my English study, I have never found any author as great as Iqbal, Shakespeare is not even close to Iqbal.. What is even more breathtaking is that this poetry was written well before the creation of Pakistan, Surely Pakistan is Iqbal's dream..

My dear mother used to recite it to me when she was alive. Jehan mein ahlay eeman soorat khorsheed jeetay hain Idhar doobay udher niklay, Udhar doobay idhar niklay

Allah hu Akbar!!!! iqbal ki pehli nazm haye jo men nen parhi thi zinda kardiya tha mjhey ess ney Muslaman mayoos nhen hota musalaman murda nhen hota Musalaman zindagi sy bharpooor hota haye...... Islam key maani gharoob hony waly say door rheny key ya us ko tark kar deny key hayen.

A humble request to cover the poems in the persian language with translation as most of his work is in Persian and yet remains hidden for Urdu listeners. JazakAllah Khair

This inspiration should be adopted by Muslim youngsters I don't know why we are not attracted to it however these poems make the hearts in fragments . I request to every Muslim especially the youngsters please study a single stanza of these poems I sure me may get the inspiration of iqbal . Please...........

جب اس انگارئہ خاکی میں ہوتا ہے یقیں پیدا تو کر لیتا ہے یہ بال و پر روح الامیں پیدا غلامی میں نہ کام آتی ہیں شمشیریں نہ تدبیریں جو ہو ذوق یقیں پیدا تو کٹ جاتی ہیں زنجیریں کوئی اندازہ کر سکتا ہے اس کے زور بازو کا نگاہ مرد مومن سے بدل جاتی ہیں تقدیریں

حرم رسوا ہوا پیر حرم کی کم نگاہی سے جوانان تاتاری کس قدر صاحب نظر نکلے Me sitting 80 years onwards in 2020 and thinking how prophetic and timeless were these verses
