1. The white powder was "vibhuti" used in wordshipping lord shiva, You might have noticed that when baahubali jr in final battle scene put his injured hand on the shiva lingam it was king of offering of blood to lord shiva just like in the starting of first part he offered water to shiva lingam, both time lord shiva gave him strength , first time by giving him the motivation of avantika's mask to climb the mountains and second time the strength to kill bhallaldev. 2.If you have noticed baahubali used the chains to kill ballaldeva, because it was the symbol of his mother's slavery and she wanted to burn him down because it was the most painful death to person and the procession she performed for blessing need to burn down the demon(it was show in the starting of the second movie). 3. Your hate with kattapa was genuine, but in the indian culture "promise" is the greatest thing to a man, he can die but he cannot break promise. And Kattapa ancestors had promised to serve the kingdom without any question. Please Watch Movie "RRR" of the same director, it has also received an oscar.

I think it was more to do with the editing, looks like a small channel and most probably had to do their own editing

in a climax frame ,the face of the statue fell infront of shiva ( to the feet of shiva). that means everything u do will be be observed and shiva gonna make you pay without any excuse. at very end everything and everything come to feet of shiva

There is no way to dislike this masterpiece of SS Rajmauli Sir such a genius, a Oscar winning director 😊😊😊

*In ancient India the promises and Dharma was given top most importance, doesn't matter u die or kill or whatever happens, keeping ur promises and protecting Dharma is unconditional responsibility. Baahubali franchise is a gem unmatched in Indian Cinema. Baahubali is better than all the war genre movies of Hollywood. Yes, I said better than them. I was really fed up with those movies. Leonidas yelling his lungs out without any reason and the expressionless face of Achilles made me hate movies of this genre. Unneccessary violence, sex, shouting was all what I saw in 300: rise of an empire.Then came Baahubali. A righteous king. A protector of Dharma. A warrior who follows some ethics, some war codes. Ancient Indian warfare is known for its rigid rules, nothing like that was in the contemporary world. The character of Amarendra Baahubali, writers have developed, is amazing. His son Mahendra Baahubali is unique in himself. Mahendra is a blend of a kid and a warrior. Baahubali is not a one man story. The supporting characters have played their roles extremely well. Bhallaldeva is a very strong villain who made the plot very interesting. Although evil, he was a man of morals. Kattapa, the royal servant, set a benchmark of loyalty. He became the most discussed character. The women in the film also played great roles. Sivagami Devi, Devasena and Avanthika proved themselves as real queens. They were strong women who walked ahead of men. Other minor characters also played their roles great to make the movie interesting. Although Hollywood will never award us. But Baahubali is at par with their movies. It has some good story with it, not just unneccessary running here and there and shouting like mad men. It is a film worth watching and like I said, one of the best film series ever made in India. Of course its a story of a father and a son, but more than that its a story of both hatred and love.

For Context, Kattapa was a Slave to the Kingdom as his ancestors already committed to it. And in ancient Indian era where there were Kings and slaves they chose loyalty to the Kingdom than any of their personal preferences. Please don't judge Katappa as a bad guy who killed Bahubali. He suffered a lot of guilt along with Devasena or even more for 25 years. Coming to this movie, I've never seen anything like this! First part was super success and in India directors are expected to give lot of commercial elements, but Rajamouli (director) went on a different unconventional way and showed lot of drama which surprisingly was loved by the audience like never before in our movie history!

Shivagami is the main character of Bahubali because everything starts with her and ends with her ! And her characterization has ups and downs ! First of all she is the queen and queen has pride which is necessary and we can't deny the fact that she loved Bahu so much but due to series of manipulation she made a grave mistake ! You guys were saying that how come she get manipulated that is because Bhalla never showed his dissatisfaction with Bahu in front of her and Kattapa not even in front of bahubali. So they never suspected him but bhalla always showed his anger towards bahu in personal that's why queen mother believed him easily after all a mother can never disbelieve her own son as she loves her both sons equally and here bhalla got the golden opportunity and deceived her so easily !! Also Devsena was also wrong at some point because she doesn't have command on her tongue, firstly she insulted the proposal of queen mother in an arrogant way and again insulted her in front of so many people which made queen mother hate her till no extent though Devsena was right at some point but the way she presented herself was wrong that's why queen mother strongly felt that Devsena manipulated bahu, also during that baby shower Devsena asked bahu to be the king and just after that bahu killed sethupathy at the court to which queen mother again thought that just because of Devsena bahu did that so due to these series of events queen mother trust on bahu started breaking and lastly when her husband told her that bahu wants to kill bhalla she believes that so easily because she was totally poisoned at that time but deep down she was fighting with her instincts that Bahu can't be like this which we have seen in few shots, her teary eyes when bahu was leaving well that's her characterization ! also the way you said that securing jr. Bahu was the least she could do then you're wrong because she made the biggest sacrifice which was her ultimate redemption that's why during the last scene of this movie jr. Bahu takes queen mother name because he knows that what she meant for his father and the whole kingdom !! Her character has some grey shade but she was the righteous queen and the most badass woman in the whole movie and the fact Bahubali loved her soo much that despite knowing the fact that only after her decision Kattapa had killed him he still respected her and loved her till his last breath !!! I love her as she's my favorite and the actress who played Shivagami is Ramya Krishna the highly talented actress ❤❤❤❤ My fav ❤❤❤ And Kattapa did all that because he was loyal to the kingdom and for him duty is above than anything but still he too loved bahu so the only villain of the movie was Bhalla and his evil dad not Shivagami and Kattapa

Fyi the literal meaning of bahubali is strong arms. You can see many scenes representing that in entire both movies from lifting deity statue to climbing mountain to holding giant statue to throwing full trees.

that scene where he broke the chain of the watergate to fall, was really shot obviously with ropes but you can see one shot where the gate falling was not cinematic.. it feels like really it's falling from a long shot...also the statue it was partially designed the fall of the statue was real the legs part first then upper body and the head... its all in the making video... tthe director designing partial sets adding vfx cgi and other things 🥹🔥🔥 rajamouli gave everyone a feast with his briiliance and uncompromising vision...
