how's the clutch? I had the B8 (2012) and the clutch went on it, so did the DM flywheel. the cost was asinine. 6 months later, the clutch started to slip again. Just curious what your experience was with that.

Sorry to hear that man, yea these oem clutches are nice and soft and don’t last forever. Mine slipped in 3rd gear, but you would never know unless you were cruising and then tried to floor it at a lower rpm. My old Jetta was the same, somewhere around 60-80k it needed a new clutch. In contrast, my 2008 BMW 528i’s oem clutch lasted 135k miles.

I have recently gotten a 2013 a4 Quattro s-line manual and it’s awesome

I certainly miss mine, wish I didn't have to sell it!

I hope you have better luck than I’ve had with my 2012. Oil consumption issues,failed water pump,fuel pump. Motor replaced at 66k, after pistons and rings replaced at 55k. 🤞

The 2012 is a completely different car. Not a good comparison. 2013 b8.5 and up are in a different league

Have you had any oil consumption issues?? Ive heard that was a common issues with these engines

Yup, mine burned about a quart of oil after 3k miles. It wasn’t too bad though, it does lose a lot to the intake manifold 😂

You mean the engine is mounted longitudinally not transversely.

Oops, good catch! 😂 That’s right, I meant to say longitudinally mounted.

Actually on a awd car you are not supposed to do handbrake drifts.

Sure. For me though, if I'm on snow and the car is not rotating enough and pending a collision, I'd rather be able to pull it vs hitting something.

I don't care what you are wearing.
