B737 Cockpit Landing in Amsterdam | iPhone 15 Pro Max 4K 60fps

I had the oppertunity to join close friend @amarpilot on a roundtrip to Iceland. On this video we are landing on Amsterdam's 36C. Flaps 40 to vacate at exit W5 and as usual a very smooth landing. I'm also really pleased with the quality of the video, Night footage recordings on iphone used to be very poor.

Woah! Seeing a landing from this cockpit view must be an amazing experience, and I hope I can experience it one day as well. I'd love to see more real life aviation content, keep it up!

Notice, just after 3:29, how the altimeter goes negative as the runway is under the sea level. Cool!
Sheesh those airport lights are extremely vivid, iPhone Pro performed nicely. The pilots landing, buttttttterrr!

Very nice job, mostly importantly to mention very small and smooth corrections even at 28 KTS x-wind and NOT PUMPING LIKE CRAZY that bloody yoke. EXCELLENT JOB!

I fully agree. The pilot flying is extremely skilled and in full control of the aircraft, only using minor corrections to stay on profile

Actually it is desirable to make firm landings. If you try to make a smooth landing and extend your landing airborne distance you can expect to be criticised.

Incredible video quality mate. Must be one of the best cockpit videos out there. I wish you can make another one of this quality in a 320 flight deck. On all my jump seat flights on the 320 family I was never allowed to take any videos…

@@springmediachannel All my jumpseat flights were possible because I just asked the captain, who I didn’t know before. So I got multiple times the chance without any good contact haha. It’s way easier with a good connection but not impossible without it;)

Why are the panel lights kept on and so bright? Wouldnt it be better to have them off and only the dark ambient with the panel screens? Thanks!

Hm, I did not notice before that both FDs illuminate as "MA" on A/P disconnect, need to check in PMDG :) P.S. I am not sure it that was legal to let you in the cockpit, so probably better to remove the video to save the flight crew from trouble 😄

It was legal! I am the first officer on this flight and I arranged a cockpit permit for him which is possible within our company under certain conditions :)
