Absolutely amazing machine. We use it almost daily during the busy months and it works flawlessly every time.

I gave my same tractor to my son and his family. Still has the grill 😊. We chose a 3-point mower 30 years back but with we had it with a deck. I bought a Yanmar SA 325 with the attachments. We still love the Kubota, never but worked.

I bought a 5 year old B7510 hydro, the model which came after this one. 13 years later it remains a great machine, as well. It has wider front tires.

I've just restored mine. The front grille was easy to make with steel plate on the sides and a section of John deer grille on the front. It looks better than new.

Be careful changing the front tires. Make sure you keep them the same size or else it will throw off the ratio to the rear tires and give you problems with the 4wd. The grill is still available from Kubota. Almost everything is still available from Kubota with the only major exception being the sheet metal. Keeping the radiator and transmission cooler clean is a must so they don’t over heat. If you keep up the maintenance it will probably outlast you. Mine is a 1977 model and still going strong.

Got one as well, keep in mind the potential oilpressure issue where the restrainer in the top of the engine jumps out causing the oilpressure to drop, causing engine damage. This was an issue on the early D750 engines. Really nice machine otherwise, virtually indestructible!

Got two my self , one with 2200 h and one with 1500 h . The only issue I have is when u push clutch to engine deck it makes growling nose kinda so I do engage at low idle to avoid that , I think the through out bearings needs to be replaced, so that’s next on list . They are built like tanks

Looking at one for 4000. Has like 6 implements with it. Will be using mostly for grading a steep driveway

Stumbled upon this video. Came to the same tractor from a John Deere 400 myself. Sad to see the John Deere go but this was a very nice surprise for cost of ownership and how much more you can do with this.

Just picked up one a few weeks ago. Only 233 hours. It's missing the brackets/ wheels for the deck, so I'll be fabricating those this winter.

Hi , Is there any method to raise and lower the deck while driving ? Let's say you get the deck hung up on a tree stump or similar or just an extra thick section to mow , is it possible or do you have to adjust the small wheels on the deck to change cut height ? Cheers 🙂

I just got one with lots of black smoke when it gets under a good load and sorta bogs down.? any tips?

That’s not uncommon for small engine diesels with big belly or rotary cutters. The HST puts a fairly good load on engine as well. Even in my John Deere 4110 (1.0L 20hp diesel) if you are mowing and mash the foot pedal it will dump some black smoke before the governor catches back up. If you are dumping constant black smoke you need to decrease the load, check the fuel system, or add more air. Running a diesel for prolonged periods with excessive smoke is a fast way to expensive repairs from high EGTs.
