thats a v6 stang..mine ran 15.3s all day....why so slow???is it cause of the ratio in the ls trans ??

15.5 is kinda quick here in colorado lol Bandimere speedway is 5,500ft above see level, My GF's stock DB8 GSR runs 18's at this altitude

That's still a bad run. 91 mph is slow for that setup. My DA with a stock B20Vtec, way too small collector and way too small exhaust traps almost 100 mph.

No vtec.....

American cars are known for muscle... Japanese cars are known for speed and finesse.

Everyone here is a rookie. Obviously this track is at high elevation and every single car will run 1-1.5 sec slower then normally.

I think it's Irwindale speed way which is 469 ft above sea level. I think it has an LS transmission. I have a Da9 with B20vtec full boltons and base tune with LS transmission and its runs 17.2-17.4 so it's a slug. had a shitty basetune and bad fuel pump. just dropped a walbro 255 lph in it and a basemap from phearable. I think I can run mid 16s with it now. at 3200 ft

ford got spanked thts it honda takes off way quicker and a b20 vtec is a serious engine

DC BigTurbo my ek hatch with b20 vtec ran 13.9. and all i have is sir head with type r intake cam and gsr exhaust cam. and its not even tuned

having a mod'd civic is like wearing a helmet to the special olympics... your one step ahead of the other special kids, but still behind everybody else bahaha 15.5 i ran a 14 flat in my STOCK 99 mustang gt

askloglog dude you comparing either a v6 or v8 to a little for cylinder lol kinda embarrassing that you only ran a 1 second faster lol.. your car has more displacement either way you should have got a better time... It's not a DA9 if it's got a B20... DA9 = B18A1

The motor was swapped... DA9 can = b17a1 or b18a1, or you can put any b series motor in it. or a k20 or k24.....
