Not totally toys but we men love to explore science, construct and test it if working.

Considering it takes computers to fly the real plane, this is pretty amazing. That thing has got to be a real handful to fly.

Yes I think the same, this design is not feasible to hadle due to the complex of the infrastructure and besides it dosen´t have an ordinary tail, which contributes the stability of the aircraft, just a complex software could handle that type of aircraft.

zid mizarz I have been to many shows where pilots flying their B-2s this size and larger with very little, if any, stability control issues while flying and they all had simple 6 to 8 channel transmitters. I think the pilot in this vid was either nervous or the throw rate of the plane was excessive.

Given the aerodynamics involved, using drag ailerons, I am impressed!!

Und genau diese Maschine wurde heuer im Juli in Oberhausen/Rheinhausen vom Eigentümer vorgeflogen, und obwohl sie eigentlich (so zumindest wurde es mir zugetragen) nur zu Ausstellungszwecken mitgebracht wurde, durften wir Samstag Abends bei idealen Wetterbedingungen ganz großes Kino erleben - für mich als Moderator eine große Ehre hierbei zu speakern - wie mir Andreas Gietz nach der herrlichen Flugvorführung beim Interview erläuterte, ist diese B2 einmal in der Luft wie ein Trainer einfachst zu steuern....

I wonder what the actual radar cross section is on this RC if you flew it in front of a real radar. It has to be pretty low even if the skin isn't radar absorbing material.

Ha I bet that is a huge pain in the ass to fly considering the real B2 requires computer control / fly by wire. I guarantee the guy flying was probably a top notch RC pilot.

PhantomMatrix the Germans invented this technology. We invented most of the aeronautic technology as well as the space technology. Just sad everything began with war. People forget half of the original US citizens have German heritage.

That is exactly what I was thinking of. Why does this RC-Model fly while the original needs software for flying. Aerodynamics should be similarly.

The actual plane doesn't NEED it's advanced computer tech in order to fly. It's needs that because it actually serves a purpose other than taking a casual stroll through the sky. The basic laws of flight are still very simple.

Coolest RC I’ve ever seen

I am amazed that they got it to fly so stable without the computer controlled fly by wire for the control surfaces. The real ones need this for stability.

Awesome, I love Comp ARF planes. I have a CARF 2.6M Extra 330L, powered by a 3W 106, its a great plane for precision or 3D flying. One question, does this B2 need a gyro/stabilizer to maintain stability?

At least for yaw axis it sure needs a gyro- stabilisation.

Steath fighter, you can get a manual for through Haynes in England.... The stealth bomber is not yet available at Haynes, as we don't think anyone has shot one down yet (Unlike the SR71).

Wow. To keep that airborne without fly by wire... don't even know how they did that.

Years for research and millions of dollars into designing the aircraft and these guys built a scale model :)
