    B12 deficiency is mainly seen in vegeterian guys (Of course there are exeptions as always). Just don't get preoccupied. Eating healthy, doing exercise, quitting alcohol and smoking and learning about health are what we can do to make a healthy living. Leave the rest to God

    back pain can be caused by a wide range of diseases... So careful physical exam and history is highly important... plus, B12 deficiency does not commonly cause back pain...

    What foods are rich in Vitamin B - 12 ????? While walking, I feel topsy-turvy.. is it Due to Vitamin B 12 deficiency ?( N. B. I eat no meat n egg yoke)

    ALL types of meats (beef, lamb, chicken, salmon, liver) and eggs are rich in B12. If you are a vegeterian you are definitely at RISK of lacking B12. and about you problem... It can be due to lacking B12, but You need to be examined by a physician FIRST.

    it depends on the unit of measrement... if it's measured in pmol/L it's OK. But if it's measured in pg/ml, it's borderline and you are at risk of lacking B12.

    Could B12 deficiency be mistaken for multiple sclerosis? Can a neurologist tell the difference on an MRI?

    yes, it could be mistaken for MS but there are differences. For example MS does NOT involve peripheral nerves while B12 deficiency does. So accurate physical exam can tell the difference. Plus, certain neurologic deficits such as internuclear pulsy (known as INO) and optic neuritis are relatively specific for MS.
