I've done hundreds of truck tires with ether you got to put air in or it cools down and loses the bead seal

That was EXACTLY what I kinda figured I was going to see , the 4x4 burning up .

Only way that will work is if you jack it up and take all the weight off then you have to immediately Supply Air because when the heat cools down from the Flames the the tire wheel deflate and pop off

@@fyou1358 I've been using ether to mount tires for approximately Forty-Eight years lawn mower tires car tires pickup tires semi truck tires mostly rubber-tired loader combine tires which takes about a can as long as I consider myself very knowledgeable

You got to take the weight off the wheel so the tire will expand back out. Probably also clean the mud off the bead so it actually sets properly Lastly, You don't need that much starting fluid carb cleaner or any other flammable material You just need enough vapor to make an explosion putting too much material in there can actually cause the tire to suck in on itself after it sets its own bead.

I saw the video when a tractor had a flad i think they used either they sprayed with out jacking it up but when they lit it the tractor jumped off the ground best video yet 😂😂😂

I’ve known a similar trick my Dads old truck fleet mechanic taught me when I was only 16,, on how to remount a truck tire that has lost air and broke off the bead. Oh you should have seen the looks on the faces of co-workers and the boss, a great guy at the time who owned the fleet of dump trucks and excavation equipment. I drove for an moved all the equipment around. But the first time at a job site where my Mack R Model 10 wheel heavy dump truck lost air and came off the wheel bead. I asked them if anyone had a book of matches and one came out with a bic lighter, I said no just a book will work. Then I went to the cab and came back with starting fluid, they all knew, including the owner was highly flammable. You could hear a pin drop but it was the incredulous look on their faces that was priceless, especially when I proceeded to spray the starting fluid all around and inside the tire for about 3 seconds, then I folded a match over the roughy stricken area and flicked the match off the book and as it lit into the tire! Then we saw/heard an explosion with flames! But the tire was instantly pumped onto the bead, at 22psi! Then all we needed was to add another 98psi, to get it at 120 psi!! The look on their faces!!! Then we laughed our asses off all day long! With my boss telling everyone at lunch!! In all his years of driving and owning trucks and heavy equipment he had never heard of anyone trying to do something so inherently dangerous!! I had a couple more opportunities to show off that one, once in the local gravel pit, with a hundred workers watching! That was on a huge Cat bucket loaded, with a tire taller than me! I needed to take tree tries, but finally got it on the wheel! The guys on the tire trucks that come over normally used a cargo strap they run around the center of the tread, then tighten it down a lot to squeeze the tire around the wheel so much, that would then help seal the tire enough to the wheel for there very high pressure to fill the tire. They said that OSHA had a rule against using flammables, oh well!

I haven’t a clue why that did not work.

Every fuel needs air(oxygen) to burn up. Go learn.

The bead needs to make a solid seal, clean it with water then do this. Also don’t put so much fuel in there, this shit can send like 5 of you flying and there’s a cameraman there. Protect the camera man at all costs.

Actually, maybe spin the tires while he's prying out the bead. That would definitely help. Makes me wonder how many flights of stairs these guys were dropped down on their heads as infants.
