The funny thing is that Ritsu's voicebank is actually done by a female. The back story about Ritsu being a cross-dressing male seems like just someone's idea of "Let's do something different."

my heart literally hurts by hearing his voice it’s just so emotional aaa

TwT believe it or not I sang as powerful and as screamful as I could for her high notes... My voice isn't the sharp-type like Ritsu's

Just found my old comment that perfectly describes Ritsu used by good producer. He sounds unreal, yet realistic. The way human can't sound, yet without anything electronic. Like the best of Vocaloids (perfectly used, of course, like here). And no, I am not talking about IA, Gumi and other superrealistic guys. I am talking about Meiko, Piko, Miki, low-pitched Rin... This is how computer singer supposed to sound. Better than human, not mimicking it.

well, most vippers ( Or most utaus in general ) have a meaning behind their name, in Japanese Ritsu can mean "Pitch, Rhythm, Principle", it can also mean "troll" which goes with Ritsu's status as a "troll vocaloid"

It literally means "sharp sound". Most people just call it Namine Ritsu Kire. It is made with 4 or 5 (I forget...) voicebanks in different pitches that make it sound more like a real singer.

You are extremely talented! I have never heard anyone use ritsu so effective and make him so full of life!

I will not even mathematically calculate how you all are liars.

Out of all the other Vocaloid, MMD, and many other related vocaloid vids like this; you actually gave each of the characters their own voice that actually sounds like their voice, I would like to say this, don't stop doing these music vids, you are by far the best vocaloid user ever (vocaloid also include the utau) \\m//.

I found this song in a Stepmania song pack. I do not regret finding it at all. Lol.

Ritsu is a normal Japanese name. It's a simple noun; since most names in Japanese are simple words. Ritsu translates to rhythm. It can go for both male and female.

Selenie Ichijo yes, he is a voice synthesizer too. You can use his voicebank with utau, which is a program like vocaloid but free! :D

According to the wiki, Ritsu or ”りつ” can be a backwards "つり” meaning "troll." Since most of the Vippaloids are meant to be trolls this makes sense >_>
