In 1996 I attended an award, because two of my friends had been winners (one in literature, the other in science) and both would receive the award from the President of Mexico. I was lucky to sit next to Consuelo Velázquez and I spoke briefly with her. That day she was pretty, kind and smiling. Listening to this song made me remember that day... Congratulations to the band!

Great story. As far as I'm concerned this is the greatest popular song, ever. It has probably been covered more, and in more genres, than any other. But regardless, it's hauntingly passionate melody does it for me every time.

Hetty is a dream. Her voice is divine, clear, and silvery. Such a beautiful timbre. In this vid, she envelops me with her soul.
