This Bengali video presents Birendra Krishna Bhadra Biography with history of Mahalaya ( বীরেন্দ্র কৃষ্ণ ভদ্র ও মহালয়ার গল্প ইতিহাস )in a broad scale. His life story with Mahalaya ( বীরেন্দ্র কৃষ্ণ ভদ্রের জীবনী ) is not easy to tell in this short span. But I have tried heart and soul to uphold his major activities with dignity.
He was born on 4th August in 1905 and died on 3rd November in 1991. He was a radio broadcaster, playwright, actor, narrator and theatre director . He was the contemporary of Pankaj Mallick and Kazi Nazrul Islam. He worked for the All India Radio for several years during its early, starting 1930s, and during this period he produced and adapted several plays.
Today, he is most known for his soaring Sanskrit recitation and India's oldest radio show, “Mahishashura Mardini”(1932), a collection of shlokas and songs broadcast by All India Radio Calcutta (now Kolkata) at 4:00 am, in the dawn of Mahalaya. He is , in fact, an immoral figure in the Bengali only for this “Mahalaya” which has been broadcast for last 87 years.

সাতের দশকের শেষের দিক ওনার বাড়ীতে একবার মুখোমুখি সাক্ষাত ও দুই শব্দ বন্ধে বাক্য বিনিময় হয়ে ছিল " কাকে চাই?" উত্তরে বলেছিলাম " গৌরদাকে"। গৌরকৃনষ ভদ্র ছিলেন ওনার ভাইপো এবং আমার নাটযগুরু ।।।।

Thanks. We knew many information here. Air was very pure in those days, intellect and humanity- both co-existed easily. 1980 onwards, it starts declining rapidly, now we have only negatives...

হেমন্ত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের কন্ঠ যে গানটি ছিল হেমন্ত মুখোপাধ্যায় বোম্বে চলে যাওয়ায় পঙ্কজ কুমার মল্লিক ওই গানটি দিজেন মুখোপাধ্যায় কে দিয়ে গাওয়ান এবং এখনো তা প্রচারিত হচ্ছে
তিনি মহালয়া কপিরাইট করে রেখে দিতে পারতেন উনার কন্ঠস্বর অনুমতি ছাড়া পরিবেশন হতনা তখন হত উচিত বিচার। পেতেন তার থেকে রয়ািলটি।

Osadarun❤️❤️ Thanks for telling But thing is missing At a very early age, Birendra Krishna was diagnosed with life-threatening disease diphtheria. An English doctor whom they consulted, after examining Birendra Krishna said he can save his life but won’t be able to safeguard his vocal cord. His life was saved but since then his voice became very different from other normal people. Is truth??

১৯৭৬এ অন্য মহালয়ার ঝড় দিল্লিতে পৌঁছে গিছলো পরের বছর আকাশবাণীর সুবর্ন জয়ন্তী উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠানে তথ্যমন্ত্রী লাল কিরষনো আবদানী ঘোষণা করেন মহালয়ার অনুষ্ঠান আর পরিবর্তন হবে না
