I love this video! I no longer am Pentecostal, nor do I attend any type of church; however, this video reminds me of what UPC services used to look like, before the change took place. I think I saw Bro. Billy Cole dancing! I used to love that type of service! Also, look how distinguished and set apart those women looked! If you're going to stand for something, do it 100%. The smallest amount of compromise can set in, and you'll not be the same a few years later. Thanks musicmaker85.

I sure hope and pray that you have found or will find your way back to God. People, churches, and organizations change but God never does. I backslid for 15 years. I have prayed back through to the Holy Ghost for good. The churches seem different but there are still alot of people who really honestly love God and want to please him. I hope you find home...God bless you

When I was speaking of the appearance of these people, ethnicity was not what I had in mind. Pentecostalism has been ethnically diverse since Azusa. What I was feeling, when I typed that comment, was the difference in songs and the difference in dress. Why did they get rid of the hymnals? Why sing nothing but those shallow choruses over and over? If you look at the Book of Psalms, the "Original Hymnal," the verses are deeper, and without too much repetition. I miss the old-style UPC.

I thank God for my trinitarian old time Church of God upbringing. We worshipped completely different than the UPC. Our worship was very spontanious and not anything like the jumping bean worship of the UPCI. Saints would shout and jerk and shake and fall out in the floors and run the back of the pews....but it was only when the Spirit moved. One man shouted and jumped the banister rail in the ballcony at the NC Church of God camp meeting years ago and fell 20 feet to the floor flat footed and ran all around that main floor shouting and praising God. It takes more than a hyped up beat to cause a manifestation like that.
