A lot of the 90s Hong Kong car magazines rated Mitsubishi GTO as one of the Four Kings because GTO, NSX, Supra and GTR were the first to have 280 Horse Power. By the time 300ZX and RX7 caught up, the next model of GTO, NSX, Supra and GTR had already upgraded to more than 300 Horse Power. Additionally, GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omologato. It is an Italian abbreviation for Gran Turismo Omologato, ("Grand Tourer Homologated") which means officially certified for racing in the Grand Tourer class.

Please do proper research before reviewing. The car is simply known as GTO in Japan, not 3000 GTO. Plus, GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omologato, not Grand Touring Organization. Also, not sure why you even bother mentioning the high gas consumption with this car? It’s a 90’s sports car with twin turbo so what did you expect? Fuel figures of a Civic? As you guys have mentioned, this car was ahead of it’s time with the active aero and 4WS, why not elaborate more on those technologies instead of wasting time comparing the steering wheel with the competition in which no one cares?

Actually my 1992 1G-B Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX uses way more gas than the my 1990 RHD GTO..yes the Twin TURBO sucks on gas but not as bad as people make it out to be unless ur driving like an idiot 99.9% time it decent on gas...
I am just commenting this in Australia's perceptive. While GTO's engine space is small and hard to operate, it is extremely extremely extremely hard to find a mechanic who knows how to repair a rotary engine in a RX7. Additionally the price for spare parts are enormous.

3.0 v6 twin turbo only gives 320 bhp? Bit disappointed. 3.0 v6 can achieve 300bhp without any turbo nowadays.

Daniel Mak Technology is different now and these 90s Japanese turbo engines usually have huge aftermarket potential so don’t judge based on stock numbers. Don’t forget the 2jzgte and rb26dett had similar power output in stock form

Are you kidding me, no one remembers the GTO, this thing is 1,700 kg, GT-R is 1500 kg and still has the HICAS four-wheel steer and four-wheel drive. I still remember watching best motoring vids, this thing gets smoked off the line despite it having four wheel drive, the only reason the supra was legendary despite weighing as much as the GT-R is the bulletproof 2JZ-GTE

聽講當時嘅GTR R32都係有4WD + 4WS咖噃，叫HICAS, 有錯請指正！果時90年代香港行貨3000GT個價同NSX比，都仲差一大截噃，個時3000GT同RX7差不多價，around 70萬左右， NSX接近110萬，NSX係當時香港第一架賣過百萬嘅車！

This engine are capable of 500 bhp upwards. The tuner once told me that.
There are still a few of them around in the UK but not 🐯 many.Same as the mk3 Supra.
It's stands for Gran Turismo Omologato, not organisation. And in Japan it was called just gto, not 3000gto

Love my 3000gt..
GTO/3000GT 係五部車中唯一一部從頭輪車發展而成。V6 Engine同波箱都係橫放，加埋四驅整車根本無從入手。換後排火咀或timing belt都比其他車難搞。美版入門版仲有頭輪NA自排160匹型號，所以影響收藏價值。

北美市場係有 supra 300zx rx7 3000gt nsx , 其實3000gt嘅軸距好短,唔係想像中操控咁差, 美國嗰啲係320匹有幸玩過加速真係幾快 ，喺美國 99年3000gt vr4簡直係上到天價同好難搵, 同supra nsx一樣, 反而北美＂五大天王＂最唔值錢就係320zx

三菱GTO,經歷3次改款: (1993 Z15A影片果款,1996,圓蛋型尾翼梯型中風口,18吋鈴,1998最終版Z15AM 車頭燈改為一體化,中間中冷入風口改長方,尾翼類似Lancer Evo款,減輕重量) 最後版為1998年。在2000年8月停產

GTR的確不是, 並不是因為性能不夠, 是因為四大天王是指純種跑車, R32-34的GTR是基於房車SKYLINE, 因此應是高性能房車或房跑車。反而320ZX和GTO誰是第四位天王則人言人殊

Chu Kenneth 最早的四天王說法是美國當年的四大日本跑車：RX7, 300ZX, Supra, 3000GT VR4, 沒有NSX 因為價錢貴一倍，不在同一級；也沒有GTR因為美國根本沒有。但在JDM車迷心中自有自己的四天王或五天王和戰神
痴線，做宣傳推人去買籮底橙。XDDD 當年在全世界玩日本車界佢都包尾當然有原因。
