True. It is game plan set up by Karan with Moosa.. because the later who is an arch rival of Anna, wants Anna's gang wiped out and this is the best way to do that. Moosa's henchman who leaves bar with a briefcase ignoring Karan sitting with Francis is a part of this game plan. Karan points gun at Moosa but shoots Francis. BTW, Francis played by the actor Shiv Subramaniam is the screenplay writer of "Parinda" with director Vidhu Vinod Chopra!
