After using Reetha Powder for 2 months here is my take on it : This powder really is helpful... it does clean your hair and there's no side effect as well. One thing i would like to advise is that when you prepare the powder don't use those black seeds because they're very hard and when you mix them with the powder.. it becomes troublesome to clean the hair. Instead, you can smash the black seed with hammer or something and retrieve that soft yellowish substance, then mix it with the rest of the powder. It'll be the best way to use it. Edit : NOW I HAVE STOPPED USING REETHA POWDER, and have reverted back to biotin shampoo which is cruelty and parabin free.

@@nehasharma6034 I faced the same problem, so I reverted back to "Allcure's Biotin Shampoo", as it can clean oil effectively in one wash. So you can also revert back to a shampoo which is sulfate, paraben and cruelty free. To be precise, I use both of them. The Day i oil my scalp, I use a shampoo and normally i use reetha powder.

You are a good and honest person. You have never collaborated with cosmetic brands that make chemicals for the sake of humanity.

Caution ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Always close your eyes while applying the mixture on hair. If one particle of reetha enters into your eyes, as happens with me, it will irritate your eyes and make it red for hours.

Agree, follow same pattern. But use full soapnut/Reetha and grind it. Even only using Reetha give good result. Just protect eyes while shampooing since it is natural hence it is strong which reddened eyes.

Hi Bro, Thanks for the suggesting the alternative for the shampoo. But the important item is water for washing hair & you must be aware of water quality these days in tier 1 cities like Bangalore. Most of the water here is via bore well and very hard, This has also resulted in gray hair problem for many and would affect the scalp as well. Could you please make a video to address this issue? I'm not aware if there is already an video available. Also people suggest to use filter water instead of direct tap water. Want to know your views or any other alternatives you can think of.

Yess!! You had suggested reetha powder in some old video as well. After watching that, I started washing my hair with reetha powder only. It's been 10 months now, and I'm not going back to the commercial shampoos. My hair look better. Hair fall is reduced. And, most importantly it washes my hair as it should be. No oil, no dirt remains. So, thank you so so so much for suggesting this epic solution self-lessly!! Just to be noted that many-a-times, my eyes got irritated while applying the reetha water or washing it, which then get miserable for a couple of hours. Then, I started making the reetha paste for application, which I wash that after some time (say 10 mins) with closed eyes.

Shampoo not really needed, reetha does a good job unless you apply oil. Then you'll need a lil more quantity but it works well.

@@shefaleeagrahari7151 mai simply iron ki kadhai me raat ko soak kar deti hu aur phir subah use mash karke seeds remove karke shampoo ki tarah se use karti hu .isse baalo me tel laga ho toh bhi baal achhe hi dhulte hai 👍

I use Shikakai rita powder since childhood, except once a month shampoo during busy times. Only 1-2 single grey hair at age of 42. Applying lot of oil overnight before head bath in the morning

@@rajsam09 buy retanut 500gm, shikakai 250gm, amla powder 250gm in grocery stores, give it to a mill for fine powder

My hair is very dry, frizzy and curly, it is said that using natural ingredients make the hair dry, I don't know for sure but is reetha and shikakai okay for curly hair? Like henna lossens curls and makes it horrible, won't these ingredients do the same?

You can add shikakai to reeta if your hair is dry.

Sir , please review on "meghdoot sathreetha" shampoo it is best it has no harmful chemicals and it is way cheaper than other chemical loaded shampoo , I'm using it since 2-3 years and in my opinion it is the bestest shampoo , I just wanted to know your opinion on this. Thank you

It doesn't do very well with oil but you can still use it, just need more quantity to wash. Wash 3 times and oil will be washed effectively. Light oils are better as per my experience

i am using havintha powder shampoo and kerela ayurveda neelibhringa keram suggested by you. both reduces my hairfall. Thankyou vivek sir ❤
