Local boy makes good! He went to high school at Lamar high in Rosenberg Tx, and he used to play in all the small towns around the Houston area with the Triumphs, before he made it big, I understand he was good friends with Kenny Rogers, Rogers went to Jefferson Davis high school in Houston.
You know you've got a special song when you sing it and Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson join in on the chorus.

A God fearing man who didn't sell his soul to the devil or illuminati. Was famous but never got promoted like others who did. Ronnie Millsap knows about this, his songs rarely played yet he had more hits than just about anybody

Illuminati? Devil? It is simply called commercialism. Most of the people on that stage had their time at the top, the reason they were on that stage is their music was no longer being played and they made these videos as a commercial venture. Has always been that way, nothing to do with the the things you mentioned.

B.J. Thomas is a great singer still performing on stage a bit in 2019, well into his 70's. He is underrated or perhaps, just not remembered as much as say Neil Diamond or Paul Simon, contemporaries of his in the 1960's and 1970's. A wonderful talent!

I've always been a huge classic rock fan. But, these folks on that stage are just as fucking awesome as the classic rock heroes I worship. Too bad Gram Parsons had to die so early on. I bet he would be on that stage if he didn't. Great clip.
In 1969 he achieved great success in Brazil by singing Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head. But his total consecration was achieved when he recorded Rock And Roll Lullaby. It has become known and appreciated in every part of our country. Rest in peace!

B. J. Thomas was an incredible talent as so many others in that room, but the ones who do not get recognized enough are the incredible stable of musicians that reproduce these hits every show !
Man this why I LOVED old Nashville. It's the good old boys, Elvis grew up in a phenomenal time, too bad he didn't surround himself with more of the Greats to give him that creative outlet he so needed in order to TRULY THRIVE. He would have been so much more fulfilled in life. The world sure got shorted on this end.
